Just been pointed out by a few mates that i play footie with that on the P&B forums theres a couple of posts from peeps along the lines of Who's gonna take the first points off Thistle.. also The League Table - Split into final 4 sections already. All made by thistle fans. I'm totally with the enthusiasm that we got goin the now but please dont start thinking we have the golden ****** goose on the go. Our first 11 amazing.. as soon as one or 2 get a knock i reckon we're straight back in the shit. Then i have to put up with shit from my mates because of all this bloody boasting on our part (im used to having to put up with shit from them.. but for different reasons obviously). On a side note was my first game at firhill this season and took my other half and a mate along for their first ever thistle games. Despite being seriously hungover from a wedding party an excellent time was had by all.. We sat in the North Stand (my first time in there and only decided on sitting there from the positive remarks I've read on here) and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Got my times a bit ****** up (thought kick off was at 15.00) but meant we could enjoy a couple more leisurely pints.

all we are doing is applying pressure to ensure that a huge miscarriage of justice is averted.. They didnt help us when we needed help and the SFL gets no TV money.. We shouldnt be called upon to fix the SPL's problem... why should we give up the chance of promotion for a year? If you seriously as a thistle fan would be complicit in letting those ***** off lightly.. then i suggest you have a look at yourself

why should we as 1st division club be asked to "help" them out.. we get no money from the SPL and Rangers didnt give us any help when we went to the wall..

Am i not right in thinking.. If the vote goes against Rangers then they will need approval from the SFL to join div 3.. So why not use that as leverage to gain a better cut of the cash Just to have them in Div 3.. Is that not a better solution? Start in our division 1 season and they're in the SPL again and no-one else has a chance of promotion Start in division 3 and the money that they brought to the lower leagues would give an actual benefit to those clubs along with increased attendance and who knows.. probably even more supporters in the long run.. that can only be of a benefit to the game David Beattie i plea with you to not think about the immediate splurge of cash but the longer term benefit!
