I was going to plump for Darren Brady but decided to go for Grant Murray instead as he was captain around the same time. Even the great Lambie could sign a dud and continue to play him for too long, Kevin McKee for example.

Flying in once to stop an entire terminal being built. Hmm I think the first option may be more environmentally friendly in the long term. I walk to protests barefoot.

Beinglas Farm (Inverarnan) has good facilities and is handy for the Drovers and sits right at the bottom of Beinn Chabhair if you fancy a wander. There's a good wild camp area just north of Rowardennan and a better one about an hour north of Inversnaid. My favourite campsite in that part of Scotland is Strathfillan Wigwams. Good facilities and not too far from Tyndrum so you can nip up to the pub or the Real Food Cafe. There's the wee site at Ardlui owned by the hotel and there's one just outside Drymen as well on the Gartness road with very basic facilities and it's a long walk back from the Clachan. If you are willing to go a bit further north, there are good campsites at Glencoe and Kinlochleven and a beautiful wild camp spot next to the Inveroran Hotel on the edge of Loch Tulla. The midges are already in full swing so take the Skin So Soft.

Get out of the cities and see a bit of Scotland. Do a day or two on the West Highland Way or take a ferry over to one of the Hebridean islands.

Back in the 80's I got fifty pence pocket money per week and would walk from Govan to Firhill and back, paying in to see utter crap and still go home thinking things would get better sometime soon, Now I can get the subway, have a few beers and pay my 17 hard earned pounds; but the value for money has gone. This club is killing itself. It sickens me to say that.

It's a lot to pay for the product we have been getting recently. £17 can get you four pints of Budvar Dark!
