Thanks a moo.

If sex with 3 people is called a threesome and sex with 2 people is a twosome, now I understand why they call you handsome!

Thats bad!!
It would have been worse if he had ordered a pie and a pint.

Why did she swallow a fly?
I don't know why she swallowed a fly.

Did anyone survive and return from this climb?

Didn't recognize him at all in the pre-match warm-up yesterday. But did notice that he failed to stop about 90% of the practice shots from the edge of the penalty box. Should do nicely.
When I was a youngster playing in goal (leather footballs that weighed about a stone) I believed that there was a finite number of balls that could get past me in a day so the more that went in in the warm-up the less that could go in during the game.
Some days it was obviously an infinite number.

A woman is helping her computer-illiterate husband set up his computer, and tells him that he will now need to choose and enter password that he wants to use when logging on.
The husband, thinking he’ll be oh-so-manly, types in the following letters when prompted for his desired password by the computer. p – e – n – i – s
His wife rolls her eyes and then nearly falls off her chair howling with laughter when the computer replies: PASSWORD REJECTED. NOT LONG ENOUGH.
When told it had to be 8 characters he chose "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs".

Without trying to be ambiguous or leaving my comments subject to different strands of interpretation, I think Fox is a dirty, grubby corrupt Tory crook who deserves all the crap that comes his way for being a low-life double dealing typical pocket-lining Tory rascal.
I didn't say he is any of those things, I said I think he is all of them. He is undoubtedly, however, a Tory.
Utterly delighted to see this horrid manifestation of a politician leave himself open to deserved ridicule and leave his rotting corpse of a party to share his shame. Cameron, yer tea's oot.
Aw come on BJ tell us how you really feel, don't hold back.

Pie
in Main forum
Was wondering last night if I was the only one who preferred mushy marrowfat peas with their scotch pie?
Don't mind beans but always thought they are bit sweet to have with a pie!
Thoughts?
Oh and chips or not?
Way back in time, 50's, the Tallies always had pie and mushy marrowfat peas with lots of malt vinegar.
I'll have to pick some up today to stop the drooling.

There was also an Evening News same owners as the Record I think (printed in Kemsley House in Hope St???) and another morning paper The Bulletin sister to the Herald.

Hi Charlie - I see you're back from your adventures and giving me a kicking again!
I'm simply trying to find a network we can use "abroad" at less than £2 a minute because, let's face it, i'll be paying for it anyway!
On my 4200km trip through the Rockies and Prairies I was in "No service" areas most of the time. I had to use Pay Phones. You will be OK in the cities for mobiles but will find it difficult to find a pay phone as they are being withdrawn in the cities because most people use cell phones.
Best tow use two tin cans and a roll of twine.

Planning to get Lady Skwerr a new phone for her forthcoming birthday (I know..... I'll probably live to regret it! ) and was wondering if the Three phone and data coverage was any good around Glasgow. They seem to have the cheapest deals at the moment, but I don't need an ear-bashing if her Ladyship loses telephonic contact with the world on a regular basis.
Any advice gratefully received.
Does Lady Skwerr know you are looking for the cheapest phone around?
Cheapskate barsteward.

With Craig Thomson looking like he'll be sacked by Hearts for his recent behavior and means he will be on the look out for a potential new club.
Would you take him?
I believe he'd be a good option for right mid or right back with Paton staying put or pushing up, it would solve our right sided problem with a tried and tested footballer.
Simple answer.......no.
