  1. Yeah we've sponsored Chris Erskine's boot's and with another £30 we can sponsor Flannigan's shirt.
  2. Thanks very much for all your donations to this. So far we have raised £324 but have had to pay £14 in paypal fees, so we still need to raise £30 before we can confirm this sponsorship. The club have reserved Iain's shirt for us, so if we can raise another £30 we can get that confirmed as well as the boots. Thanks again to everyone who has donated
  3. We're almost there with the shirt sponsorship. After the donation made by the NOMADS we will have raised £360. This should be £370 but due to paypal charges we are a tenner down. This means that we only need 9 more entries to get the shirt. Thanks again to everyone who has already donated, hopefully we can raise the rest of the money and confirm the shirt sponsorship within the next couple of days. Cheers
  4. Thanks very much Tam, this is much appreciated
  5. I've had to delete a few posts from this thread tonight. We welcome fans of other clubs to join this forum, but if you are only here to cause trouble you are not welcome.
  6. We got another 2 donations yesterday nearly there. The club has now confirmed that we are sponsoring Chris Erskine’s boots this season. If anyone is planning on donating to this fund but hasn’t had the chance to do it yet, could you please donate over the next few days so that we can get the shirt sponsorship in place for the season starting. The player we would be sponsoring is Iain Flannigan. Thanks to everyone who has donated so far
  7. No that won't be too late. We're just trying to raise as much as we can for the club, so even if you donate after the shirts/boots have been sponsored your donation would go towards the prizes for the monthly draw. Hope you have a good holiday!
  8. Thanks very much to everyone who has donated so far. We have now managed to raise a total of £210, so we only need another 24 entries to be able to sponsor a player's shirt for the season. Thanks again to everyone who has donated so far. Cheers
  9. At least the winner could expect one good boot at the end of the year
  10. Just to say that we have now started a poll to decide who's boots to sponsor. We've also included a poll for the shirt sponsorship but we're still waiting to see if enough money can be raised to do this. Cheers
  11. We have now raised enough money to be able to sponsor a player's boots, so once we've all agreed on who to sponsor we can confirm this with the club. If you have donated to the Sponsorship Fund could you please let us know who's boots you would like to sponsor? Please also choose which player's shirt we should sponsor, if we raise enough money. Cheers
  12. Yeah that would be fine. Here is a list of the player's left for shirt sponsorship: Willie K - Home & Away Robertson - Away Grehan - Away Boyle - Home & Away Hodge - Home & Away Hinchy - Home & Away I think that most of the boot's are still available so could go for another players boot's?
  13. Thanks very much to everyone that has donated so far We have managed to raise enough money to sponsor a players boot's now. The player we will be sponsoring is new signing Iain Flannigan. If we can get another 33 entries we will be able to sponsor his shirt as well. We will post an update when we have confirmed the boot sponsorship. Thanks again to everyone that has donated so far. Cheers
  14. We have put together this package as a way to raise a little cash for our club as a fans forum. To be part of this there is a minimum fee of £10. If we achieve 12 entries at £10 it would allow us to sponsor a Player's boots. If we reach 44 entries it would also allow us to sponsor a Player's Home/Away kit. If we reach 59 entries, we would buy signed shirts/footballs from the club to be given away as prizes. If we reach 99 entries, the prize list would include 2 tables for 2 at hospitality on 26/12/2010 and 07/05/2011. If we reach 104 entries, the forum will also be able to present POTY and YPOTY Awards at the end of the season. If we go beyond this, we will sponsor additional players/players boots or buy more prizes for the monthly draw. To get involved in this or see more details follow this link: http://www.wearethistle.co.uk/index.php?/page/fans/sponsorship/index.html Cheers

  16. We have not deleted any comment that you made last night, and neither have any of the moderators. Must be down to your internet connection cutting out when sending the post or something like that.
  17. Our main aim when we decided to set up this forum was to provide a friendly atmosphere where people can disagree with each other without it resorting to abuse. We weren’t bothered about rumours being posted on here but we have acted on advice given to us when we were setting up the forum. We have had no advice from the club on what would merit any legal action so we chose to play it safe. We have also always stated that this is your forum and we want to make it a place you all enjoy. So if you want to be able to post transfer rumours without having to provide a source that’s fine. However, please keep in mind that when you signed up to the forum you agreed that you will be liable for any legal action resulting from something you have posted. Thankfully we have not yet had any dealings with the club, if we ever do we would try and protect our members but if the club wish to pursue their complaint then there’s nothing we can do about that. We don’t want to restrict what people say, and we apologise if it has come across that way.
  18. Hi, Just a reminder to you all that if you want to take part in our world cup predictor you need to send us your predictions, to [email protected], before the first game kicks off tomorrow. If you don’t manage this deadline but still want to take part, we will accept late entries however, please be aware that you won’t receive points for any games you missed. The content pages will be ready for tomorrow but we will put a message on the forum to let you all know when they are available. Thanks to everyone for taking part. Cheers Admin
