  1. And dress. What would that be on the night formal/informal? And the pie stall will be what? Formal/BYO And something else. If its informal does that mean, because you haven’t paid any money, you’re not entitled shout abuse.
  2. This is something I’ve often pondered about. Should I look or should I not. Maybe the girls on the forum could help me here. Female fashion is to show a nice cleavage, otherwise they’d button-up to the neck. Would an admiring glance, and possibly a hint of a smile of approval, at what’s on show be acceptable to the ladies. Or would you be considered a lecherous git who should keep their eyes to themselves. Well ladies what’s the proper protocol.
  3. Thanks guys. I had a suspicion that these clean-up tools were a no no. I do use AGV anti-virus and Spybot… and an external hard drive to back-up my files. I’ll probably just live with the computer the way it is. Re-installing Windows is a bit beyond my ability. Thanks again for the sound advice.
  4. Am looking for some advice from a computer techy. I’ve downloaded Uniblue Registry Booster a free registry clean-up tool but haven’t actually installed it yet. They say running their software will speed up my computer’s performance. But they would say that particularly when they want to sell you the full version. I notice there are lots of other free registry clean-up tools available but reckon they are all much the same. My PC is about six years old and is taking an absolute age to boot-up. I’ve always kept my anti-virus software up to date so am reasonably confident I don’t have any viruses or other nasties lurking about. I clear out temporary internet files and history quite often. I defragment the system occasionally and also delete programs I no longer use. I’ve been told at six years old you can expect a PC to slow down quite a bit and not much can be done to significantly speed it up. I’d appreciate very much if someone can advise me.
  5. You don’t say what your transport will be. But by far the best way to see Scotland is by hiring a car, not hugely expensive September/October, and get yourself a tourist map with all the places of interest high-lighted. Head north, for me it would be up the west coast, and call in at the tourist information offices on the way. Where you can book your accommodation for each day ahead. If relying on public transport you could be spending a great deal of time studying timetables and waiting for connections. Though, which, if you are in that frame of mind, can be enjoyable and relaxing. Good luck, I wish it was me.
  6. How many of you will be dragged to the shops these coming Saturdays. You must have noticed in shops these guys standing meekly by as their wife take clothes from the rack to try against their hapless man to see if they fit. This also includes shoes. The wife decides how their man should be dressed. The crying shame is lots o’ men seem to be quite happy with this situation. In fact I know some guys who get clothes and shoes brought home from the shops to try on in the house. And then returned if they don’t fit. Is there anyone out there who’d admit to, and defend this pathetic situation. All men should stand up and be a man and choose their own clothes.
  7. You’ll no doubt be reading on jagsforum.net all the negative reviews of this promising new forum and hopefully will be letting it all go in one ear and out the other. Pay no attention to those Moaning Minnies. Be assured most of them will be here with the rest of us. They wont be able to help themselves. Good luck.
