How did we not look like we could score? I could see your point if we didn't create any chances. I think most of the time we got forward we looked like we could score. Not scoring and not looking like scoring are two completely different things. And we were much, much better than them. Not "as good". They had one shot on goal which trickled into fox's arms.

Who would you, or levein for that matter, have chosen to start in place of craigen and Elliot? Our season won't be determined on results against motherwell (who were the 2nd best team in the country last season) but results against the other teams around us in the league I.e hearts - who we drew against. Ross county - pumped them away. St mirren - 1 win apiece. And kille - a draw and a narrow, undeserved defeat. These are the teams we need to finish above and so far I still haven't seen anything from most of them that says they will run away from us. So lets wait till the end of the season before calling for Archie to be replaced with someone like levein. Who in any case would be a terrible appointment IMO. The style of football we are playing at firhill the last 2 seasons is something, as a fairly young thistle fan, I have not seen in the 15 years I have been going, and would hate us to throw it all away by pressing the panic button too soon!

Maxy said this morning that because Celtic have offered each season ticket holder 2 additional free tickets....that was the maximum allocation we could have got. How many season ticket holders do they have?

I have never posted on this site....from last season I have been a very interested onlooker. Tonight though, I felt that the criticism of Archie has been totally unjustified! Did anyone seriously think that we were going to waltz our way through this league? Beating teams like kille, Ross Co and hibs along the way? We all knew it was going to be a massive struggle up here....against teams that have been here long before us and teams that will be here for years to come! I know we have said it time and time again this season.....all too often to be fair.....but we are better than the teams around us.....by a long way! I still haven't seen a team in the bottom six that I would rather go and watch every week more than us....if we add a couple of additions to the team that will improve us in January then the results will improve....of that I'm sure! People calling for Archies head are far too premature! If we fail at the end of the season.....which i'm certain we won't then let's take a look at our manager.....but right now lets get right behind the team.....they are owed that!
