  1. Just reading we have signed Dan jefferies on loan from Dundee. A Paul Hartley dud signed from Colchester in January but has made only one first team appearance.... giving away a late penalty shortly after coming on against Hamilton.
  2. https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/update-from-the-manager/ Niall Keown has signed an extended contract on revised terms...... The manager saying he thought he came in against Dundee United and was outstanding.
  3. I suppose its just something that the club are obliged to do with sponsorship deals
  4. Should Storer not get a nomination? His performance against Falkirk was great, first 20 minutes, picking passes for fun.
  5. The two victories are Falkirk and Stranraer.... On the Falkirk game, totally dominated first half, passed with purpose and intent. Penrice was sharp and performed well, deflection on his shot, but great commitment and drive. Stranraer... Well it what you should expect.
  6. I really think we should do away with this awards for being nonsense. While we're at it... jagzone pick a man of the match after 4-0, 3-0 defeat. I'm not saying there couldn't be a stand out performance in defeat. But surely the players should have a bit of professionalism about them and turn down or disagree with the award.
  7. Stunned after Tams injury.... Easy ball into the box. Free header..... 1-0 Tam would have cleared that.
  8. Seems to be something in Al Ahly legal consultant Helmy Abdel-Razek claims the Dispute Settlement Court in FIFA have ruled in the favour of the the Egyptian team in their case against the runaway striker. Its breach of contract, A Professional Player, who leaves a Club in violation of his Agreement with that Club may be suspended and may be liable to sports sanctions and the payment of any compensation claims in accordance with the Judicial Panel Protocol and/or the FIFA Regulations, as appropriate. Surely with the press coverage and his history at Kilmarnock, the club and their legal team knew everything, done there homework. I think we are a professional outfit and surely not stupid enough to get involved in a bum deal
  9. Interesting reading... Al Ahly legal consultant Helmy Abdel-Razek has stated that Dispute Settlement Court in FIFA have ruled in the favour of the Red Devils in their case against runaway striker Souleymane Coulibaly. Coulibaly had suddenly fled Egypt during his spell with Al Ahly in May 2017 following one of Al Ahly games in the CAF Champions League. Al Ahly board declared later on they are filing a lawsuit against the 23-year-old striker in order to preserve their rights. Abdel-Razek confirmed that the Dispute Settlement Court’s ruling is the fining of Coulibaly 1.4M USD to be paid to Al Ahly. He added that the club managed to present documents that proves the rightness of their stance in the case and that the player fled the country without permission and without being subject to anything that leads him to escape like that, leaving the team halfway through the season. Al Ahly’s legal consultant explained that the former Kilmarnock striker is prohibited from joining or signing for any other club unless he pays the fine to the Red Devils..... But he has signed.
  10. Al Ahly should just draw a line in the sand under the matter........
  11. Good question..... Where are you getting this from?
  12. And I'm sure our chef executive.... The lawyer looked into the legal side of the transfer and left nothing to chance
  13. Problems....... Egyptians Al Ahly claim they are still waiting for the Ivorian to pay them £1million following his walkout last year. Now Al Ahly are ready to go after the Jags — and even the SFA — if they attempt to play Coulibaly.
  14. My apologies.... Was writing my topic while waiting on the bus home from.... Bus appears and I've pressed the post button, I'm getting the impression I pressed it twice, could anyone tell me how I delete a topic? Just before I come across a right Diddy
  15. The Club have announced that 23 year old attacker, Souleymane Coulibaly has signed on a one-year deal, subject to international clearance. The big ivory Striker comes to Maryhill on a one-year deal having left Egyptian side, Al Ahly. Think this is a great bit of business and I think will be an important player. Welcome to Firhill Coulibaly.

  17. Just watched the latest offering from the chief executive and he talks of four players needed and a seven figure budget, so if that's a million, then simple mathemataticals tells me that's 250,000 a player? Which is scrapping the dregs of English lower leagues and worse. Hopefully Archie can pull off another masterstroke like pogba.
  18. Will he?? And what exactly do you base this conclusion on??
  19. I just went upstairs for a piss. And boom two nil down... Shankland again. What's happening
  20. Game kicked off five minutes early..... No reason. I suppose it five minutes I didn't have to suffer. Cmon thistle... All the talk, all the pulling in one direction pish. Just get a grip of the game.
  21. Good to have Label 5's support for another season... However did breaking with traditional and doing away with the man of the match bottle of champagne, and replacing it with a bottle of whisky. Could have maybe affected our performances last year and have lead to the number of players underachievement on the pitch??
  22. Just quess work Gary? Or does that look like an S and a X
