    Well done elevenone. From just 19 people. Would be good to see more join for the rest of the season. Only 21 games left (16 league + 5 cup). Let's make a big effort in 2018.

     

    I’d echo this BowenBoys. What an easy way to contribute to the Club, based on how successful we are at scoring, holding the Old Firm etc.

     

    Let’s get behind the Jags and make 2018 a success.

    If you don't have the prevailing opinion then by logic the majority will disagree with your opinion. If you're subject to OTT verbal abuse for holding a minority opinion then that of course is another thing entirely.

     

     

    I’m not aware the previous poster received any ‘abuse’ from the ‘majority’. Unless he can point me to it?

     

    It is a Forum where views differ. That’s the nature of the beast.

    Keown seems to live football. It is something I like about all of our squad. But if you asked me, Keown, Lawless and our favourite Kangaroo appear to have even more than most. I hope they are all around for the long term.

     

    I’d agree Douglas, I think Keown & Edwards love the game.

    Going on what we've had to suffer in recent years I'm all in favour of banning drums from Firhill. If however Hamilton Accies turned up with a rattler who had the ability of an Elvin Jones, or for that matter Ross County could muster up a Steve Gadd or Billy Cobham soundalike then I would be open to seeing that policy reviewed.

     

    As an aside. and there's bound to competition, but in terms solely of popular music can anyone come up with a better drumming performance than Steve Gadd's on Paul Simon's Late in the Evening?

     

    I think we need John Bonham to drum some confidence into our squad over the next few weeks!

    Any one else think Keown is future captain potential?

     

    I hope we stay up just to keep him.

     

    I loved after the game the way he was waving his fists at the JH . Seems it really meant something to him

     

    With his dad’s genes, you would think so. But I’d still go for Ellliot next then Keown to follow.

    I wonder if part of the solution lies in who is team captain? Archie & Shaggy can prepare the team, but when they get out there, the minute by minute motivation & effort needs to come from the captain. Do we have a leader in the pitch? I don’t think Devine is the answer.

     

    Get Christie Ellliot back, and he is just the sort of player who can inspire those around him through his work rate & words. So Elliot as captain might just work. Of all the current injuries, I do wonder if we have been missing him the most.
