  1. How many more times can I watch this? Hunners.
  2. Can't wait for Friday now. Still buzzing about yesterday. Hopefully the weather will keep up...
  3. I was so impressed by them that I bought two to take home and keep unscoffed.
  4. Pretty, pretty good. Makes ours seem like a handful of sawdust and bits of random rubber thrown into a pastry case by a 13 year old.
  5. Good call that. Dools must be beelin having to sit on the bench when Taylor isn't performing too well.
  6. Seriously thinking about Albion rovers v Stirling Albion tomorrow...ten quid in for an adult and kids are free.
  7. great post. Sums up how most folk feel, I would imagine. Yesterday was horrible...move on and look to the next game.
  8. I am a massive Higgy fan. My player of the year without doubt. I said to my pal, just after Higgy failed to make that pass to Taylor that you mention, that I could see Archie taking him off for trying the shot rather than passing for what Mayhave been a Taylor goal. I get how Higgy can frustrate, but that boy lives and breathes football and wants to play every pass in every game. As others have said, he's certainly not a one man band and assists as much as runs for goal.
  9. Terrible, gutless, performance. Bizarre tactics and substitutions. Wortst performance in quite a long time but still love the jags and will be back for more. It is called 'following your team '.
  10. Suddenly really looking forward to Saturday now. Couldn't go today and didn't enjoy Wednesday really, so can't wait for the hertz.
  11. Totally on the nail. Christie is limited, but has drive and ambition and..as others have said..tries to make the best of what he has. A player with real heart and I will take that any time.
  12. I agree with you. I actually thought he was good last night. Football cliche coming up, but he was pretty solid last night most of the time and sprayed some good passes around like a midfield general.
  13. Could have turned very nasty indeed when they all started revealing themselves towards the end of the game. They were dotted about everywhere. And whose idea was it to use a barrier of what looked like flat feckin linen in the jhs to separate the fans?
  14. Stewarding and segregation was a shambles. At their last goal, about 5 celtic fans jumped up in front of us and got a shove from an irate thistle fan. The stewards just ignored us when we asked to get them moved into their own area.
  15. A right bunch of deeply unpleasant fans that lot. It was like living in the 1970s tonight with some of those feckers in the JHS. I'm sure some of them were wearing high waister flares and platforms. Reminded me of how civilised Firhill is every week and how much Thistle fans are all about the fitba and none of the rest of that shite. Roll on Saturday .
  16. Aye, probably Dools. A real shame, cos he looked sharp and hungry yesterday. It'll be good to have Banzo back though-thought we really missed his creativity. Prince B had a pretty poor game and Banzo was noticeable by his absence.
  17. I recorded the full game off BBC Alba, which I've so far watched twice. Sad, I know. The bit that I found most interesting though was the interview with Higgy and Taylor-they both came across as really decent blokes who are both really passionate about the game and about Firhill. Well worth watching.
  18. Time to have that post title above the knicker wetters' Archie Must Go post. That offends my eyes each time I log in.
  19. Thanks for posting. Just off to stick it on ma facebook page...
