  1. Think it could be just as effective in Main Stand, but if the fans want to stay in the NS Stand then why not leave as is for at least another year. Certainly no overwhelming business case to justify it, As posted above, create time for greater dialogue and maybe have a couple of trials in the Main Stand at non OF games to see what everyone thinks of the experience and atmosphere.
  2. Yip and the frustrating thing is there are loads of empty seats
  3. Club needs to give more thought to season ticket sales for next year, as a non season ticket holder but regular attendee get frustrated about finding decent seats in JH stand, as many blocked as empty season ticket seats. I had put this down to the issue of free U16 tickets, but this thread had highlighted that there is a significant number of these seats where the holder is in the North Stand. For next season the club should give the fans the right to reserve a seat if their season ticket is valid for one stand, if they opt to have the flexibility to go to either stand then they should be issued with a free seating ticket, this should be easily achieved with computerised system.
  4. Delighted to have Chris back and will look forward even more to going along to games, but lets face it he is unproven at this level and DUFC are using us to find out whether he can cut it or not. They know he will get a run if games here and if he proves a success, well and good for us, but he will be back playing to them for next season. If he bombs then he will be back them to decide what to do with, maybe back to us should we end up getting relegated, although not an outcome we would wish for, one that would brighten up next season and make sense for all parties given he is proven already at that level. If, as I suspect, he is a bit hit and miss, then he may well have a longer term future at Firhill. It will certainly add to the interest for the rest of the season to see how this pans out.
  5. How can we drop someone for a performance that gets him in the Sunday Mail team of the day ! Bizarre, even Fraser had a better game than Fox and think he should have saved our first goal. Cant remember Fox making a save a note and as others have stated looked dodgy on their first 2 goals and maybe even their 3rd
  6. Ach its all over the place now and after all my moaning just found out cant make the re-arranged game. I'm out of this debate but will be there Saturday. Away the Jags
  7. Depends how you want to spin it, non ST Holder who attends above number of games , Cost £392, ST Holder saving £4.60 per game.
  8. There will be an element of bias depending on whether you are or are not a ST holder, my own view is everyone who effectively paid into the original fixture, i.e. ST holders whether there or not and all who paid at the gate should get into the re-arranged fixture on the same terms, if you cant make it then thats hard luck, same as it is for ST holder when scheduled fixturea moved for TV. Could be that current T&Cs for Season Tickets prevent this approach, anyone know ?
  9. Take all the points about Season Ticket Holder pros and cons, have been one numerous seasons in the past, but think the club policy of passing on costs of rearranged games to pay at the gate home and away fans is flawed, charging more than 50% of standard admission is basically unfair
  10. Yeah and its £12 that's staying in my pocket, refuse to subsidise ST holders free entry to additional games, would have no problen paying the same rate as everyone else who attended the original game, whatever that was set at
  11. Your ST entitled you entry to original game, my £20 did the same for me, it gets abandoned half way through, ST holder gets into re-arranged game for nothing, I need to pay £12, I really dont get it
  12. Not really, similar to the non ST holder who attended the St Johnstone game only being entitled inadequately discounted entry to the re-arramged game, which they may not be able to attend
  13. Expecting the non ST holders to carry the costs of an additional game onto their season ticket holders entitlement is a major goodwill gaff by the club. Having endured a soaking, incurred the additional travel costs and witnessed the worst football experience of over 40 years of going to Firhill first time around, I certainly have no intention of paying more than 1.5 times the cost for 1.5 games, so will now be giving the rearranged game a pass. I will also not be bothering going along to any other games in terrible weather conditions, if this the policy the club has adopted for abandoned matches.
  14. A risk that someone offers him a better personal pre-contract deal to move at end of season, also would suggest price is now set and any improvement will go in his pocket for a January move.
