I'll be home in Glasgow on the 24th Nov to visit my ill Mother and I was wondering if i should dare venture up to Firhill on the 27th to see my beloved Jags v Q,O S.My last home game was way back in Oct 92 v St Johnstone which the Jags won 1-0 with Ray Farningham scoring.If Billy Coutts, Paul Devine,Ian Mc Dowall, Bobby Glasgow, Billy Hiddleston are going then I'll probably and hopefully see you at the game.I'm only home for a week so I've got to make the most of my visit as I'll be spending most of my time with my poor old Mum.

I can remember a game at Firhill against ? where Bobby had his back to goal, he flicked the ball up spun round and cracked an unstoppable shot straight into the Pokie!I think there was another beauty where he jinked and weaved his way down the right hand touchline before cutting in and unleashing another belter straight into the Pokie. We had some talented players in the 70's. Where are they nowadays,there don't seam to be any around these days?

Just wondering if it reached the press over there about the Canberra Rugby League player Joel Monahon's stupid prank with a small dog. He had a photo taken of him with his appendage in an uncompromising position with a dog and his mate thought it funny enough to post it on Twitter where it quickly spread around Australia.He has resigned from his remaining contract of 2 yrs to go to England to play in the Super League. Once the fans over there get the photo he'll still cop it big time.What an Eejit!

There is obviously no Pride at Firhill now and I've never been so Disgusted with the club in my entire life as an avid supporter of the great Glasgow alternative.We once had players who would give their all for this club but that seems to have disappeared completely viewing the current status of them holding up the league at the moment.OK I'm not there to watch them every week but I'm still suffering badly in Sydney every weekend. It pains me to say this but Div 2 is looking on the cards at the moment and that would be a disaster. As I've mentioned before on the Forum " who is out thre who could do a better job that McCall?" It seems to me that the players don't do it for Mc Call and they couldn't care less about it either. It's bad enough that Sydney FC are bottom of the A League and now my beloved Thistle are there too! As the late great Riki Fulton once sais "Oh God"

Another draw for Sydney last night but 2 cracking goals to end up 1-1 in Torrential Rain.I stil can't see how Sydney are going to turn things around.

Last Season's A-League Champs were Sydney F.C.This season they are dead set Bottom of the league having not won 1 game from 7 and with 3 pts due to 3 draws and no one is talking about the manager being sacked, well not yet anyway Last seasons Wooden Spooners Adelaide Utd are sitting proudly at the top of the league with 18 pts from 5 wins and 3 draws and no losses anf their manager is being hailed as some football hero in some of the media Just thought I would share this useless info with all of you back home

Listen up Mr Fearchar, I've supported Thistle all of my life since I was taken to Firhill by my dad way back in 1959 when I was a 4 yr old. From 1978 till 1987 I was heavily involved with the running of the Cumbernauld Supporters Club where we were the old Supporters Club who run a bus to Homwe games as well as the Away games.Just because I came over to Aussie didn't mean that I had to ignore my beloved Thistle so If I want to comment on their current position then I will. At least when I went to the games I saw a pretty decent team run onto the park with players such as Joe Craig, Dougie Somner,Alan Rough, Alex Forsyth,Alan Hansen, John Hansen,Jim Melrose, Maurice Johnston,Jackie Campbell, Ronnie Glavin, Jimmy Bone , Frank Coulston, Denis McQuade,Bobby Law,Davie McKinnon,Brian Whittaker,Geordie Shaw,etc etc.Who playing for us now can equal any of these blokes??? I rest my case!!!

You know, here i sit 14,000.00 miles away and I have the same thoughts as most of you on how Thistle are travelling at the moment.I get the results from my dad every Sunday night on the phone and according to him "we are shyte" Seems to be the same sentiments as this forum.While I don't rate Mc call AT ALL I don't see or know who is out there in Fitba Land who could take over and change the scenary at Firhill into a Winning Culture.I honestly don't blame any of you for Boycotting Firhill for the remainder of McCall's tenure up there. Good money going to Bad if you ask me !The Board have a lot to answer for too apparently and again I don't know any of them either.Are any of them actually Thistle men or supporters or are they just in it for the prestige of being on a board of directors? We should in all honesty be up at the top with 4 wins considering our club being far bigger than the rest of the Div.Only time will tell I suppose on how we develop but I'm as disgusted as much as you guys are on the current situation.
