  1. Surely Maxis first job as Assistant Manager should have been to tell Bombscare willie to stop pulling jerseys! Everytime he played last season he gave countless free kicks away for pulls and pushes and yet he never learns. Hes not the worst player we have (that honour surely goes to that lazy sh*tebag hodge)but if he is going to play until archie returns we will lose a lot of goals from set pieces caused by his "handling" of the opposition. Thought we did enough to win today and macbeth and burns gave me some form of hope that we might finally produce some decent home grown talent.
  2. I lived in Peterboro for 12 years, parents are from Posil and Port Dundas so i consider myself an adoped scot. but I would say that the media coverage this world cup has been nothing compared to others (maybe becoz they are so awful),i HATE england because of the media and supporters there but theres no way they are going past the quarters. No doubt about it.
  3. If the Killie chairman sticks to his " your fined if your booked" policy he could end up not even having to pay Alky Alex.
  4. Not sure if its Mark McChrystal your referring to. From what I remember he was pants. Or It could be John Kane, equally pants.
  5. Ladies and gentlemen I give you sean kilgannon.
  6. Good lucky Jonny, welcome to sleepless nights, 3am bottle feeds and insomnia. hopefully ull sign a new jags contract when half awake but if u dont all the best. i bet his/her first words are "martyr" lol! good luck.
  7. To be honest i dont care about folk who wont see firhill stadium again, worse fans my bum. Ok we arent the most vocal but we still care. If firhill was so sh*t then i wouldnt go back, but i do because I love to support a team which u dont know what will happen. could win 5-0 (rare) could lose (5-0) less rare. who cares what other fans think, if the firhill faithful think so then we can deliberate, otherwise. f*ck off. edit- slightly pissed. sorry.
  8. Maybe some of the teams in the championship are better than the SPL but teams like derby and the donnies arent! Just because attendances are bigger doesnt mean the football is any better. IMO the standard is pretty much the same and if tuffey wants to stay in scotland then playing for hibs/aberdeen wouldnt be any worse for his international prospects than playing for Leicester or Plymouth. I used to watch Peterborough down south (given they are poor now) but I think the standard at jags is equal, well apart fae the goals they can score.
  9. Thank Guys, Ive a wee wait to try to bribe the wee man but the maxwell pension package seems to be the way to go. He inherits my "alex taylor signed" ANNIVERSARY STRIP when I die. Itll be a while till youz see me but if u see a fat bloke pulling a wee guy up firhill road then ask if its me, if its not then then they must be queing for gers tickets in 2 years. He will be thistle till I die i hope and be a jags legend like scott mcculloch (same fat build) with a left foot rocket!
  10. At least we wont have to hear ""Jim ill fix it for you" this year at Crappielow. Half decent player with a half decent attitude. No thanks, next please. Id lke a wide man whos not a complete sh*tebag thanks, makes Coco look like Maradonna IMO. but opinion isnt fact...
  11. Yeah, I wasnt saying its a pittance just that its not like you'll be able to retire in luxury when your career ends.
  12. Fire on Hallmark and watch Law and Order: SVU. Awesome stuff, i love stabler, hes just like a jagsfan, Think with his heart first and then brain later!
  13. I love the idea of old firm names being bad words in our house. As much as I like freedom of mind I think parents should be able to intervene when the old firm are under discussion. I have a face on most weeks given our recent form so I dont like him to see me miserable so hopefully we will start with morton at home (2-0) and cowdy away (0-4) in the 2010-11 season. Also loved to add that two families from hamilton refuse to let their bairns be accies fans, although at £22 a game no wonder they prefer Pollok!!
  14. Im fairly new to posting, as illustrated by my lack of emoticons and poor spelling but I thought Id announce the birth of a future jags legend wee Robbie McFall who was born on Sunday the 16th of May. Hopefully an Alan Archibald replacement at Left Back but with more pace than his dad and someone who uses his right foot for more than standing on. I shall strive to ensure that he doesnt follow the sheep to the piggery or castle greyskull and with his "im potty about partick thistle" baby grow I hope Ive started him on the right path. Main point for the post is, how difficult is it to make sure your kiddy follows you to firhill every week and how hard is it to to get them to avoid the old firm catchment? Peer pressure says he might end up at parkdeid unless I put a stop to it. Opinions welcome.
  15. Margareita (spelt wrong i know) time. The quo are awesome!!
  16. As much as his better playing days were behind him I think he did pretty well for us when he got a game. Cant remember what game it was he played centre mid (might have been ICT at home) but I thought he was a wise head who read the game better than most in our team. Like u say though, if we are paying £500 a week max then £25k a year salary doesnt go far when your out a job. Good luck martyn.
  17. I think from my away games this season the prices were crappielow (£15), Ayr (£14) and Airdrie (£15) but then again my memory is nothing short of shocking so I could be wrong. I dont have a season ticket but usually manage all but 2 or 3 homes games and a few aways but I think in principle it will put me off going to the more meaningless games. I could maybe understand if we were heading in the right direction as a club (i.e pushing for the SPL) but we seem to be going backwards. Im not sure I want to pay 17 notes to watch middle table clashes next season. That being said come August ill no doubt ignore my better judgement and spend another couple of hundred quid watching gash fitba.
  18. I stand corrected! I would still like to see him at Firhill though.
  19. Last time I saw him at McDiarmid he was pretty rapid and also in the couple of SPL bores Ive watched this season. Although it wouldnt be hard to look fast running against our ageing defence. I would say he's as fast as Paton, definetly fast enough to be a decent wing back for us.
  20. Id echo the above, I thought Irvine was the best right back in the 1st division during 2008-09. Bit like paton going forward but can actually find a man with his crosses and isnt scared to go on back into his left. Strange decision to release a player who is usually in their first eleven though.
  21. I really hope that isnt true about Robertson from Airdrie. The guy is too small and his kicking is poor. Surprised about the Halliwell release but none of the others. Would be nice to see conroy back if Selik dont want him.
