I think Mulgrew legs have gone. Was a good player but we want younger. hungrier, faster players.

McInroy more a #10 than 2nd striker with Tiffoney at end of last season when Turner moved back into the midfield 2.
Docherty replacement still to be bedded in.
Need to bring back our defensive solidity that we had for the majority of tge Doolan run.
What I saw in the 1st half gives me confidence especially the right side of McMillan & Lawless

Substitutions and change in formation let Raith draw. We'll learn from this and move on.
Starting XI that will be fully fit is very promising. Williams was good at CH. McInroy is going to be a very good signing.
McMillan & Lawless were causing chaos down the right in 1st half.

Looking at that I'm feeling confident for the season ahead.

If we hit 3000 tickets then our revenue issues will be eased. Throw in TJF monthly subs and any extra investment we get we can even look to strengthen in January.

He did say players would have left even if we got promoted. My interpretation is that Tiffoney was offered big £ from Dundee we would have not been able to match in the Premiership.
Budget lower this year than last which is no surprise.
Wants more youth in the team from the Academy. Agrees MacKenzie is not a natural full back but will learn from playing in this different position.
Emphasised player personality and how they fit into the squad was very important.
Protecting our assets by increasing contract length of players and saying if they are on 2 or 3 years of contract we have a better chance of getting £ for the club and the players have better chance of bigger money moves to English leagues instead of moving to say Motherwell or Kilmarnock (said with all due respect).
Fave goal he scored was Hibs away.
If he could bring back a player in their peak to play now it would be Chris Erskine.
Stayed to the very end of the "meet the team" signing autographs and chatting to fans. Spoke to my kids very well.
