  1. Tony Abbot on the other hand makes jokes about rape, is openly sexist and does not believe in equality, is hugely anti-abortion, is appallingly against the teaching of indigenous languages, believes homosexuals should stay in the closet as he feels threatened by them whilst he also believes that a woman's right to choose her sexual partner is something to be 'moderated'. You'll never find a more unpleasant jug eared embodiement of vileness.

Sounds like a good old down to earth Aussie bloke.

  2. Sounds like some bitter Labour supporters who are unable to accept the democratic choice of the voting public. This is not Florida 2004. I think the Conservative Liberal Democract coalition (Condem? I'm criniging at the use) have done better than I thought. I wanted the Lib Dems in in a coalition government. Cameron and Clegg are working together as all coalitions should do and they need some give and take like all coalitions. If we get AV electoral voting (and I hope we do) then coalitions will be more common especially as the 2 party state is diminishing with every election. At the end of the day we have huge amounts of debt. We need to cut it. It is not going away unfortunately.

  3. Hi there - was on the Jags Trust website and could not see a contact email. I'm sure I'm being a bit slow but could you point me in the right direction? I know someone who works with International Students in Glasgow Uni and want to use them as a go between in trying to get the new batch of international students from Glasgow Uni to get along to Firhill - ticket offers, t-shirts etc. Give me an email so I can kick this off. Cheers.

  4. Something about this will be going in the newsletter/e-mail, which I hope to be getting out tonight.

Got your mail NZ Jag. Other people may need to check their junk mail settings as it went straight to mine but of course is now going to get safely delivered into my inbox. Well up for putting some money into this.

  5. I can say I was shocked at the meeting to discover that only one other 'ordinary fan' bothered to turn up for probably the biggest decision the Trust have (and will) have to make on behalf of the fans. If YOU didn't bother to turn up to give your view then FFS stop harping on about it!

Amen to that. That's the problem with the internet and forums as it allows to many negative posters on who harp and whine and complain but do nothing about it in the real world. There are plenty of opportunities out there to have a say but people choose not to do so.

  6. I always think The Ashoka in Ashton Lane has a good atmosphere and the food is decent too. Went to The Wee Curry Shop in Byres Road a few weeks ago and that was good although you do feel a tad cramped. All my mates rave about Balbirs and when I was reading "The Herald" in the food review it seems this is the top rated place with Mother India (where I've never been) a close second.
