  1. By the way, my first attempt I was told I could not watch in the UK, so I switched country and only then got the JWplayer appearing, even if it's just a loading circle that appears. This gives me confidence it is on DFC's side and not the application failing me.

I had that initially too. I'm realistically hoping its up sometime just before 3.

  2. Any idea what time the stream starts?

Sorry, never read the post above. If anyone abroad is seeing a picture it would be very helpful if you let us know...

    This also.

I'm in..just the stream is kinda doing nothing and those spinning dots waiting on something to happen are appearing.

  3. Is there a way you can make it look as if your outside the uk by downloading something? As you can probably tell I'm crap at these kind of things

Download a VPN. Its basically capable of confusing the web site into thinking you are browsing from abroad.

  4. The catering has definitely improved. I don't mind the price hikes either if I'm getting a better all round service. Like the addition of irn bru. The coke was pish.

    Stewarding was fine.

Heard the Aitken Suite is much improved too. Tennent's on tap!

  5. Outside the Bing this place has been one of my biggest gripes about the club. Just presented an awful image. Crap beer, crap experience, no sky tv, old tvs showing midsomer murders and bargain hunt, just feels like a big room of nothing. If anything it presented a bad picture of the club imo. I like the local pubs around the ground but especially pre-match these changes would convince me to use it again for the first time in a long while. Well done to the club for identifying the potential it has and the dire experience it has been for years.

  6. So you have the new shed bar....and kill the shed. I know its not the old shed and never will be but in terms of modern football I don't think proportionately theres many better stands or sections. How many stands on the telly do you see in Britain where virtually everyone stands and sings? Barely a handful, and thats even when you get to top clubs.

  7. I think there is enough ability in the team, but who are the leaders or the communicators? Who are the Steven Thompson and Jim Goodwin types who take lead the dressing room and organise every one? As far as I can see, no one. I hate to say it but the likes of Sinclair come across as shitebags.

  8. I don't think the club can be blamed for the ugliness of the away support. Lack of action by stewards and the police is the real issue here and it's not the first time it's happened. They'd rather arrest and prosecute a young Thistle fan for singing a song, instead of lifting people who have smuggled in fireworks and smoke bombs or have come in to a football ground jaked.

If the cops love the Offensive Behaviour at Football Act so much, why didn't they arrest hundreds of Celtic fans tonight, including the ones who were at the canal with a carry oot (has drinking in public been decriminalised now, or couldn't they be bothered?).

I noticed a smashed bottle of buckfast on the south drive that looked like it had been launched by one of the sizeable group of neds, some with celtic gear strips on looking into firhill from the corner. Further up near the star and garter there was more them shouting insults from the top of the grass bank.

  9. For the celtic fans in the main stand and so called middle class punters in hospitality to start goading our fans in our end sums up their lack of class. Ive seen clyde, accies, ross county fans in our end. Its ALWAYS the ugly sisters who bring trouble with them.

The police and stewarding operation must have cost us a fortune tonight. Around the ground before and after the game, neds patrolling all over the place, particularly the length of the canal.

They had 2 flares in each stand i seen and sang their usual bigoted bile all game. Were the wolfetones playing in maryhill tonight?

One of the least enjoyable nights ive had as a jags fan. I can take losing matches but watching them behave as they did - and it wasnt a minority, whilst the police and the club stood back and let it happen has left a very bad taste in my mouth.

  10. Is it a bit sad that I'm unsurprised by this? I've been to Peterhead a few times and there is absolutely nothing redeeming about the place. The people, at least those I've come across and read about couldn't be anymore backwards or unwelcoming, the closest you'll find in Scotland to rednecks. Add to that the place, is in the middle of nowhere and theres nothing do. When they brought dictionaries to Peterhead I'd imagine the page with culture was ripped right out. Oh the weather is brutal too...

    Depressing shithole.

  11. I think Archie has earned the right to get till the end of the season based on last year, but that doesn't mean I'm happy with what he has done, and unless things radically improve, I'd like to see a bigger name in his place. Some dreadful statistics to his name this season and its a very poor league in comparison to times gone by. Mowbray, Owen Coyle, Lomas, plenty of big names out there who have done well at this level or higher in the past. Its not a case of for me "I'd sack him but I don't know who would replace him". Plenty of candidates available.
