Agreed. Given the amount of time Morton were allowed to move the furniture before each long throw, could we have used the same tactic and run the clock down towards the end of the game by insisting on taking 2 minutes to rearrange the stadium before all of our throw ins?

Rearranging Mortons ground would be something if not an impossible task.  To semi quote an old adage “A supporters bus crashed into Cappielow causing 10 grand worth of improvements”

I don’t get it. They aren’t the only team that have someone with a long throw.

when he wasn’t showboating by sitting on the ball, I used to love Don McVicars long throws.  Can be a viable tactic at times.

If we play them again, get the boards weighed down & immovable!

we could also get the ball boys/girls to chuck em back a medicine ball instead and see how they like ‘em apples 😁

I think today, I would sit them all down, and say'each 1 of you are playing for your future. If we continue to play as poor, u will be out the door in the summer.'

that may act as an incentive for a few of them to continue poor form though :getmecoat:

I’m done he doesn’t have a clue. Stanway has more bite and fight in him than mcinroy and Bannigan put together. We lack someone who can come on and influence a game and he put Lyon on loan, who had a few great performances.

The younger players are better than the ones we are using just now, Lawless and Fitz need a rest and he just won’t do it ! We don’t have the players for it and it’s his fault. Some of the signings are as bad as the ones Archie made when we got relegated.

We also put young goalie McCready out on loan and without having seen him surely would have been no worse a back up than spending a wage on Stewart.
