i believe the Ramsden Cup Final is to be on the 7th of April...........but does anyone know where yet? As a Nomad i like to get these things booked up and sorted, ive looked at the SFL website (which is pish btw) but nuthin as usual, so if anyone hears anything can you post something for us Nomads. Thers about six of us coming up from down here together so we are kinda hoping it might be at Rugby Park? and the sooner we know the better....... thanks.

i came up to Firhill for the first time in a year for the Raith Rovers game, and enjoyed the crowd in the JHS, seemed more than 1800 as i couldnt see an empty seat anywhere. But it did seemed strange looking over at the 'shed' in the north stand, and not even knowing if any away fans were here lol. Just wondered what folk thot of away fans in the JHS. what was it like with Falkirk and their big support and what will happen if we draw an SPL team in the cup with a big support like Hearts? of course the ideal scenario would be a similar stand at the city end for our lads, and the north stand still dedicated to away fans.

with changes going on around football, how would this idea fit in, if sponsors and tv ect were found? If a team doesnt get into the Champions League knock-out stage, they can drop into the Europa Cup. What if teams that didnt make the Europa Cup 'League stage', went into a Celtic 'League Stage' Cup? The League concept could be bolstered by SFL clubs, winners of the ALBA cup for example, and SFL League cup winners/runners up. SFL Div 1 winners/runners-up? The celtic cup could even include English Championship teams/winners ect. as well as the Welsh Irish and N.Irish clubs. At least it would give a good competitive competition for the likes of Motherwell/Hibs ect. that didnt qualify for this years Europa League. Plus, one arguement against a 16 team SPL was that there would only be 30 games a season, this could help to alleviate that problem for some clubs? ok, its just a thot?...........ok i'll get ma coat!!

nope looks like two petals? and it says Poppy Appeal as apposed to Poppy Scotland, a different charity.

Must admit i get pretty angry at the cyclists down here that refuse to use the cycle lanes. oor toon spends over 500k a year (of our money) maintaining and improving cycle lanes, yet they still use the roads. colleagues at work, who are cyclists, have tried to explain to me that cycle lanes are not for cyclists!! They're for people with bikes!! cyclists are just arrogant road hogs as far as im concerned. dont get me wrong, im not a road rage person, and always give them plenty room, but they do piss me off.

But im lucky if i can get up once a year. what can folk like me (nomads whatever) do more directly online?

Having read recently that Thistle are still strugglin financially and making a loss, whats the best way to drop a few bob now and then and know that its going where you want it to go? its all very well, chuckin a few coins into a bucket now and then, fundraising or doing some online shoppin in the knowledge a few quid will go to the Jags. But is that few quis just being swallowed up and disappearing down the Firhill sewers? if i knew there was a specific fund for players, a fund for a new south stand, a fund to pay off the debt, a fund to refurbish the magificent old stand, and a fund for the youth team ect. i would be more than happy to put a couple of quid (or whatever) each month in the direction of my choice. Is this a daft notion or could it be made to work? and would other fans help it to work?
