Yep, hope he makes full recovery.  Football just a game at the end of the day.

not nice to see at all - had to leave the room -  fair play to my pick for coming back out but I wonder what pressure was put in them behind the scenes to fulfil the fixture

  2. was doing a set of results for a work competition yesterday for every group game  - hadn’t clocked that the organiser had put in Sweden v Slovakia twice - first prediction  was 2-0 and other one was 1-3 - shows you how much thought I put into it - good luck troops & cheers again BB :thumbsup2:

So .. ... a mate of mine is a director of a lowland league club and at their recent meeting ..... one ian Maxwell turns up to plead with them to accept Brechin  they reject that and then one rod Petrie appears and offers to ‘ buy’ 100 tickets from each club if they support Brechin entry

    unbelievable

they are a tawdry sleekit underhand bunch - truly unbelievable in a believable way.

Henry MacLeish on the tTV earlier talking about a top to bottom review of the Scottish football structure - you know at which end you should start Henry.

I found a pic of this model of the old Cathkin Park.

I'd love to see a similar one of the old Firhill: shed, high wall, north terracing cover, main stand. So many modern grounds are rightly referred to as Lego grounds, such as that other one below.

quality Lego bing but - mowed plastic grass, nae weeds or scaffold - bang tidy! ... should be a canal bit too with some not to scale fans peering over that corner

So the SPFL have delivered again for the ugly sisters!

A toe hold becomes a bridgehead becomes promotion at the very least to League 1 - then the sky's the limit!

A previous post (apologies can't remember who contributed the post) suggested  this was the first step to the ugly sisters breaking from Scottish Football. I agree with this opinion however my only difficulty with this is where will they  breakaway too?

Let’s hope if Mars ever gets colonised they can p*ss off there ... it just rests on CalMac getting their bums into gear and designing a boat that will take their ‘local’ fans from Larne to Mars - won’t hold my breath as they can’t even deliver one to service Arran!

Tough on Montrose - goal in 120th minute from the Crappylow crew - Morton v Airdrie in play off final - two of my least favourite teams.

Was only having a joke, I think.

Let's be honest though, who would be surprised if it was that.

Heard on the news it was carried with 11 votes ... they undoubtedly canvassed the clubs before the vote & decided 9 would be enough ... reading the Twitter responses on the spfl announcement it seems a paltry cash offer per club was made ... they’ve set a precedent in selling places in the  senior leagues to the dirty duo - wonder if any club can buy a place “for one season only”

Lowland league clubs meeting tonight to discuss the colts idea. If agreed the AGM later on this month would ratify the yes vote.

lower league clubs will probably be more ready/desperate to accept their paltry slimy cash offer to join the leagues ... I note on the TV report a simple majority was required 9 out of 17 I think ... they change the majority level to suit the vote so it's undoubtedly a done deal
