  1. I've just watched the video on the bbc sport scotland website of they 2 numpty dungdee fans and spencey talking about dundee taking 2000 away fans, what a load of bullsh1t!

the funny thing is that hairy guy in the video says ' if raith lose £30,000 as a result of us boycotting the game then tough. how about, 'you're getting docked 25 points ya b4wb4g, tough! round yae!

the dundee fans are saying they will give the money they would have paid for the away games to dundee, I wonder how long that will last, it all sounds good aye but who is seriously gonna go and give £20 every 2nd week for hee-haw, im grudging paying it to go to the game, who in this 'financial climate'(I hate that term but it sounds really intelligent!) can just afford to give £20 away every 2nd week running up to xmas?

  2. With the current situation at Dundee F.C should Thistle go for any of their out of contract players such as Harkins?

we can hardly afford to sign scott fox for 3 months on peanuts, I doubt we can outbid any other first div teams wages to be honest.the only players i would want would have been mcmenamin ( now at qots),harkins, griffiths and higgins, everyone else is shecht.

  3. will this points deduction take place after the appeal then aye? and if so is there a date for the appeal decision? just thinking if we went there on saturday giving it 'down with the morton' then they dont get the points deduction we will look like muppets! I hope it is decided but it would be bloody typical of the SFL to drag this out till may and leave every other team in the lurch waiting to hear who is getting relegated.....again!

  4. Hey it's nearly 9pm and there's been barely 20 posts on a just in thread. I'd hazzard a guess that most of us happy as we'll be with the three points are not exactly overwhelmed by our performance. I really don't think we can stomach another digging deep beneath the surface thingy tonight.

Positives? Well I thought we played well as a team, no one hiding and as 1-0 wins go this was one of the more deserved.

by the sounds of it a few of us had a few kwid on thistle and are out celebrating our victory.

wanted to add - I thought hardie played well today but we weren't anything special, I would like to see a young boy getting a shot as much as anyone instead of loan playeers but I dont think the likes of bannigan or macbeth are up to the job of a regular starting place, Hardie seemed to drive us forward and give us a bit of presence in the middle, i think we would have struggled today without him and im glad we have got him for the short time, I hope the folk that weren't keen on us signing him have changed their minds.credit to McCall for once for getting him in.

    thistle are rising again.

  5. The bookies aren't daft. Betfair wouldn't take more than a 50 quid bet, So I went elsewhere and put 200 on at even money.

well done for having the kahuna's to stick that much on thistle, twice I've stuck £50 on us at even money at home to ross county and we blew our wad, I was shechting it and I only had £15 on us today! enjoy the money mate!bookies GIRUY :lol:

  6. good win today and nice to see us up off of the bottom of the league again. paton, boyle, hardie were our best players in my opinion, hardie MOTM. doolan worked hard upfront but theres not much you can do when robertson is humping the ball 70 yards up the pitch for him to try and outjump their defender. cairney looks to have the same problem as liam, he looks like he has lost a yard or 2 of pace and still doesn't seem fully fit for some reason. flannnigan was coming too far into the centre of midfield instead of sticking out wide, then when he did get the ball he shechts himself if paton isnt within 5 yards to pass to.anyways im sure we all feel relieved and alot happier than we did last saturday, and plus I had £15 on us to win, £30 back and had a £5 treble on chelsea, fulham, Ipswich, £27 return.bookies, GIRUY!!

  7. Now we're looking at 4 of our next 6 fixtures being away from home and there's not even an away tie out of them to look forward to.

I know we arranged this stirling league game as both teams weren't playing due to the Challenge final but surely it would have been more beneficial to us not to have had this game, givng another team more gate money that are down in the relegation zone just before the window opens, we won't make any money from it and its another away game the fans have got to fork out to go to

  8. OMG.

    Ayr United v Sunnybank

    Elgin City v Livingston

Stranraer v Golspie Sutherland or Girvan

one team out of bo'ness and buckie going into the next round is unreal. the official site seem to think stirling are a 'former' first division side, do they not remember what happened last week?

  9. if he's fit enough then it will hopefully be a good piece of business. we're crying out for a few goals from midfield. going by McCalls usual loan signing policy he will be straight into the team on saturday, maybe as a striker?

would loved to have got macdonald aswell, it would maybe have given the other strikers a boot up the @rse they are needing.

  10. I'm bloody working all weekend and won't even get to see the match, reading that makes me feel like phoning in and saying ' ram yer work, am gawn tae the jags game!

if we win it will be brilliant and I can still celebrate without having the 3 and a half hour drive down the road, if we get beat then shecht, and I still don't have to drive down the road!

  11. loving it on pie and bovril, get on there and wind them up. as much as you say it you wouldnt really want a club to go bust  (unless its the OF) the poor poor dundee fans are having a protest against the club.

get it right up them actually, they were rubbing our noses in it when they got harkins, Going bust, going bust going bust!!
