  1. you didn't answer the question - are you a polotician perchance!

i also seem to remember that 'average' team having a very strong scottish cup run last season so they're no mugs - we lost by 4, we collectively take it on the chin (the planet keeps spinning) and next week is another day

next week is another 4 of 5 job to be honest. we didnt manage to beat dundee last year so Mcall won't have figured out how to do.

Aye, obviously we're skinto flinto and dont have the money to pay off McCall but I hate that we just need to accept that and continue with the same pi$h week after week,I feel sorry for the supposed 'real fans' will keep going no matter what, even if we get beat 5-0 every week and fair play to them but we/the board/ mccall are driving fans away. I stay not too far away from Kirkcaldy, but just didnt have the motivation to go along today after the last 2 games, and I'm bloody glad I didnt go cos I would have been away at half time.

  2. Hopefully McCall may have learnt something today and sort out our defence and midfield, let's at least make us hard to beat. I am sure we were be bullied out of it in midfield today , we always seem to get outmuscled and try to play nice tippy tappy football, it doesn't work in this league. I am no coach and even I can see that, Really fear for our future

our problems have been clear to the fans for about 2 season, i bloody hope mccall realises how pish we are today cos if he doesnt he should have a look at himself. failing to beat raith in 5 meetings, only scoring 1 or 2 goals against them. he's not got a clue. i said last week we were going to get humped a few times this season and i think i was wrong, it'll be more than a few by the looks of things.

    :puke: 4-0

  3. been saying all last season and this pre season that boyle is a fcuking dumpling, why do we insist on playing him? mccall clearly didnt want to start the season with hinchy in goals as he is pish so he made it a priority to gt a keeper, archie wont be back for at least a month so why hasnt he got someone in at left back

  4. im saying we'll finish 7th, with raith, cowden and stirling finishing below us. i fancy morton to do alot better this year to be honest with a manger who knows what hes doing, we've not got enough goals in the team to be near a top half finish with falkirk, dundee, dunfermline, ross co, QOtS all finishing above us without a doubt.

if buchanan gets injured which is inevitable then were screwed royally, if it ends up serious and hes out for 6 months+ then its looking like relegation im afraid, we might be able to pass a team off the park but cant convert that into goals.

  5. Its gona be a bit wet and a wee bit windy...Dingwall all over again :D

Hope we can get a few goals to brighten things up.

taps aff if you love thistle?

im staying overnight in annan, never been before but everyone has good things to say about the social club

  6. aye me! leaving glasgow the back of 10 to get down there and dump our stuff at the hotel we're staying in for the night, then out to the pub, really looking forward to it, would love us to go down there and rattle 5 or 6 by them after this ****** on reporting scotland to be honest. buchanan x 3, grehan, flannigan, cairney

  7. first half we were a disgrace, second half slightly better but not by much.we deserved to win and good to see young macbetha getting a goal.

halliwell looked comfortable, boyle and hodge are 2 of the worst players I've ever seen in a thistle shirt, boyle is a total joke of a player, what possesses mccall to give him a game, he is a total dumpling and him and hodge on the left cause so much problems for us. they can both go anytime. there wasnt really any stand outs from the team to pick a 'man of the match', rowson worked well as always so thats probably why he got it.doolan was annonymous, cant see him doing much this year, big grehan should be starting with liam as he played well when he came on.burns came on late on and looked sharp.

decent result to start the season with, bring on annan next week. their number 8 looked no bad, strong on the ball and direct.

  8. Is this game in Lennoxtown "behind closed doors". If not does anyone know anything about it? Like when it starts for instance.

I'm sure someone phoned the club and they confirmed we were playing celtic, gie them a phone and find out what time its at and if its closed doors. my dad stays just round the corner, I'll probably head up and chance it. gd chance of conroy playing against us if the shelik first team r in america
