I don’t think Sneddon is the answer to be honest, he doesn’t come off his line and catch all these balls and make great saves unlike Fox. New experienced keeper needed!
-
We could just plant a few on the goal lines now that Fox has left, he was always rooted there!

What’s with the 2022 logo on the website ?
I think it’s because Just Employment Law have signed up until then.

What are league's 1 and 2 doing. Have they just decided that there will be no 20/21 season. If they have where does that leave us ?
Aye all these teams have voted for us to get relegated and they can’t afford to start the new season behind closed doors, so I guess we will end up losing all our better players as they wan’t to play at a higher level or the rest will be freed when the furlough scheme ends? Starting to fear for the future of Thistle, I can’t see there being a ‘survival of the fittest breakaway league’ more likely the bottom leagues will be left to rot away.

Thanks for the correct line-up, Jagfox and afk. So, my revised evaluations:
Arthur: Decent
Murray: One of our worst ever captains. A disciple of the back-off-and-don't-tackle-school-of-defending.
Boab McCulloch: Cult hero indeed!
Snowdon and Smyth: Snowdon: clearly too good for us, went on to do well in the English top flight. Couldn't get the others perfect the goose-step free-kick routine. Smyth: average.
Scott Boyd: Better than many people thought, and carved out a long career at a higher level than us.
Billy Gibson: Jagfox gets it right: okay and will always be remembered for his free kick, even though I don't think even he knew where it was headed for.
Jimmy Gibson: hard worker, but bang average.
Stephen McConalogue: I thought he was decent enough, given the other dross we had at the time.
Mark Roberts: legend
Adam Strachan: could have been a successful player..... shame it went the way it did.
Subs.
Colin Stewart: Nope.
Sandy Hodge: Legend! (Tongue in cheek)
Sean Kilgannon - decent and/or average.
Paul Ritchie - end of career journeyman. Scored winning penalty that's about it...
Steven Nicholas: average... even at this level.
I think you are mixing up Snowdon with someone else! Are you thinking of the boy from Stoke, Wilkinson?

Just watched it, the first one was hillarious but this new one was more centered towards the poverty and political front in Kashmir. Higgy said he was earning 3 times the amount he was getting in Scotland, must have been worth it, calling his 2 young kids on Xmas day in a total war zone.

Where can we find this? BBC/ITV/Streaming Service/Youtube?
I’ve taped it on Sky, it was on the new BBC Scotland channel so should be on the BBC iplayer. The first documentary they made was hillarious, looking forward to this one.

Apparently Doncaster says that it will be the clubs that suffer if legal action is taken against the SPFL. Does that make the SPFL untouchable..?! Seems pretty threatening language. Reckon this is close to reaching a tipping point
Have Rangers not offered to pay for it? I know it then doesn’t make it look like an independent review but Dongcaster won’t say how much the initial (very narrow remit) Deloittes review cost, yet he knows an independent review will cost the clubs. So he could basically get away with anything and then just threaten the clubs it’ll come out of their coffers if they want him investigated. He’s untouchable! I’d take relegation to league 2 just now if it meant this numpty was outed in public and shown to be a corrupt snake! Can’t wait for SSB tomorrow!

Can’t help but feel we’ll be the most hated club after all this happens for prolonging the season instead of just saying ‘Aye just relegate us, we don’t mind.’ I think we are right to do what we are doing but think it’s just delaying the inevitable, they will never null and void the season, realistically the season won’t get finished and there will be another vote later to end the season which will get accepted as other clubs chairmans are too scared to upset the big teams. I can’t see reconstruction happening either.

This now being reported from Kheredine Idesanne, who said a statement is due out this afternoon.
@PartickThistle asking @spfl ceo Neil Doncaster to circulate full details to all 42 clubs of the loans they could get from the League. Thistle say SPFL emergency loans are open to any club to apply for whether to cover for expected prize money or another purpose

Is that boy still making they SITB magazines? He’ll be able to do a new one called Stabbed In The Back now!

There’s a surprise. Now over to you Rangers to play your hand and let all hell break loose.
-
Was just listening to SSB there and they were saying that you can change a ‘No’ vote but can’t change a ‘Yes’, so do teams who voted No still have the 28 days to change their mind/ be bribed before the actual result is announced?
-
So what happens if Dundee turn around and vote yes now? Will the shit hit the fan with all the Rangers stuff? I’d love to see it to be honest, bring the roof down on Doncaster, expose the corruption. Who knows where that leaves the leagues? It will go to a 2nd 3rd 4th vote til we are down so we may aswell hope that all hell breaks loose over this!

If you look at the voting slips I.T.C. and ours have a X in the reject box where as Dundees Has a tick...would this have any bearing???
Looking closely at the papers, below the voting boxes it says ‘ please tick appropriate box above, Dundee ticked it and us and ICT both put an X in it!

Fair play to the ICT chairman coming on and giving his account of what happened, top guy. I thought Sportsound would sort of paper over the cracks of what happened but they didn’t. Michael Stewart (who was brilliant aswell) and the other guy along with ICT chairman basically saying it stinks to the high heavens and even Richard Gordon hinting at corruption and dodgy dealings. Forfar can go shaft themselves if we end up down aswell.

I think Doncaster will be invited to join the Barcelona board after this vote!

I think we’re fcuked unfortunately once again. This seems to be a big thing about clubs needing the money or going out of business now. We’ve obviously just spent a bit of cash in the window trying to stay in this division, it looks like we’re going down, so we’ve got these players on championship wages for 1 or 2 yr deals, will the SPFL bail us out if we’re going tits up financially with crowds of 1200 halfway through next season? No chance. absoute pish!

It’s going to be weird to see what happens with players who have signed pre contracts if the season is extended even further, the likes of Docherty at Ayr, surely he has to complete the season with Ayr then join us, but if his contract with Ayr ends at end of June, can he then leave and join us and play our remaining games this season?
-
I think he we had a 2-1 win and three 1-1 draws vs Falkirk last year. I remember a good few years back we kept getting pumped 4-0 off St J, might have been 3 times in one season again in the first division?
-
During the transfer window everyone wants to know who we are signing and be ‘ITK’ and hear all the rumours ahead of it being announced by the club, yet someone has said we’re getting a new strip next year and it’s a crime! A quiet kit launch will do me fine, we seem to spend all our time showing that we are amazing supporting all these things and make an absolute baws of it on the field!
