  1. Aye we really need at least  4 out of 6 points for the next two games vs Arbroath and Raith, Both these teams beat us comfortably at home so it's about time we stepped up and dished out some revenge.

    Sneds

    Foster

    Akinola

    Mayo

    Holt

    Turner

    Doch

    Banzo

    Tiff

    Graham

    Rudden

    Let's go.

  2. From watching on the stream I thought the first half was poor, no pace, width or tempo. The pitch looked very bobbly though, even the most basic short passes seemed to take two touches to control.

Second half they started better and were unlucky with a header by the post then we scored with a cracking fizzed Turner corner and a great header by Mayo. Smith was so unlucky with his shot off the bar aswell. We looked comfortable enough defensively but most of Accies attacks were down our right, Turner maybe drifts too far inside which leaves big McKenna exposed, fair play to the big man as he’s in and out the team and never lets us down. Toss of the coin between Mayo and Akinola for MOTM, Mayo probably for me because he scored but both were solid. Still not quite sure if Turner on the right works but his set piece delivery is excellent and we’re still winning. He’ll be fired up vs Pars next Friday so stick with it, it will be a hard game as they have won their last two after Yogi coming in.

  3. What a result today, credit to McCall for bringing BBG back in, I just wonder if Ayr might be upset with Mr. Wardrop for firing Graham up! I managed to find a stream online for the second half but the pixellot camera system was a joke, everytime Duffy came out his dugout it zoomed into his baldy knapper thinking it was the baw then anytime Sneds was waving his arms about trying to keep warm it zoomed in on him aswell, they can stick their £18 up their erses. Scotland win, Jags win, fridge full of cold beers, does life get any better?

What is the situation with Rudden's contract. If he continues to improve and show more consistency, i can't see us been able to hold on to him.

He signed a 2 and a half year deal in January 2020 so he’s still signed up until May 2022 I think. Hopefully we try and get his deal extended

  5. Maybe time to try Hastie from the start? The Turner back at right mid experiment didn't work so we either need to put Smith back in or try Hastie on the right or send him back.

    Sneddon

    Foster

    Tunji

    Mayo

    Holt

    Hastie

    Docherty

  6. It was a bit of a similar game to the QOTS cup game, first half we played well and looked good going forward, second half they came more into it, but Queens scored a wonder strike out of nowhere, whereas Dunfermline had one main chance which Sneddon did well to save. Had that Docherty strike gone in it would have been a great goal but a cracking save from the keeper kept it at 0-0.  The longer the game was going on I was half expecting the sucker punch to give them their first win but I'll take the point and move on. I would have taken 7 points from 9 vs Ayr, Accies and Pars if it was offered so can't be too unhappy. Docherty MoTM for me. We could be doing with another centre forward to change things up a bit, I don't think MacIver is up to the job and doesn't ever look like scoring, Murray isn't a centre forward either, when we start taking Rudden then Graham off I basically give up on winning or drawing the game. Good thing is we don't have long to wait for the next game.

  7. Just turned over to the Sco U21 game and and I see Mayo is starting so he'll be unavailable, no sign of Rudden in the squad, I just assumed he was called up but it doesn't look like he was?

Will the team just be Hendrie into left back and Holt to centre back then keep the rest of the team as it was vs Ayr?

  8. I'd say we go 442 again and see how it works tomorrow,  McCall shouldn't have dicked about with the team after a few clean sheets, albeit it against Morton and Stenny,  Akinola isn't a right back, he's a centre half, play him and Holt at centre back. McCall seems to like Mayo but I'm yet to be convinced, I'd give Shea Gordon another go at right back and just tell him to defend and not bother about doing anything else. Otherwise play Hendrie at left back and move Foster to right back.

    Sneddon

    Gordon Akinola Holt Foster

    Turner Doch Banzo Tiff

    Graham Rudden

  9. Our front 6 are the ........... and I'm just saying nothing. Please win Jags.

    Stone

    Mckenna if fit / Akinola

    Mayo

    Holt

    Foster

    Turner

    Docherty

    Banzo

    Tiff

    Graham

    Rudden

I'd give this another run out tomorrow, I don't think McCall will go and make wholesale changes, maybe Hastie in for Tuner to give us some real width but who knows if he is fit.

  10. Meant to say, does anyone know if the Arbroath stream is that pixellot nonsense? I'm sure it was when I found a stream for their game with St J last week and the camera kept zooming away from goals to a baldy guy while the pens were in place, but checking their highlights on youtube it looks like a normal camera? cheers

  11. I suppose it will be hard to drop anyone from the Pars game. McCall has said after the Hastie and Akinola signings they will need to work hard to get in the team first so I don't see any changes. The midfield 4 and front 2 are the best 'front 6' in the league,  we need a big game from the big keeper tomorrow.

I'm assuming Davie Moyes may have recommended him. A player not good enough to make West Ham first team could still do a job at our level.

Probably aye, I’m sure IM said in an interview we had a striker lined up from W Ham after the first lockdown but it fell through.
