Back with a bang. A 4-2 victory against Motherwell to progress to the next round in the Scottish Cup. Came from behind twice but totally bossed the second half. Well done!

Me and my son agree. Like the way he covers the pitch - must be hard work to defend against. He also combine well with Robinson.
Is he on the groundstaff as well?

More rumours:
Dundee United are leading the race to sign talented Queen’s Park skipper Dom Thomas.
The 27-year-old has been a bright light for struggling Spiders and pitched in with a vital goal in Friday’s 2-1 win over Dunfermline.
That’s alerted a host of Championship rivals and sparked a bidding war to land the former
Scotland Under-21 star.Title favourites Dundee United look the winger’s most likely destination but league leaders Raith Rovers and Partick Thistle are also interested.
It’s understood that all three clubs have contacted Queen’s Park and are willing to pay a fee for the winger.
Spiders will wait for the best offer but it’s understood that Thomas would prefer a move to the Tannadice outfit.
Tangerines boss Jim Goodwin is eager to bolster his side’s attack this month and views Thomas – who had spells at Motherwell, Kilmarnock and the Pars – as key to United’s bid to bounce straight back up to the Premiership.
Jags boss Kris Doolan is also desperate to add more firepower.

Ross Stewart confirmed:

-
Former Hearts keeper Ross Stewart is set to sign for Partick Thistle.
The ex-Tynecastle backup has been without a club since the summer after his deal in Gorgie ended.
With Craig Gordon and Zander Clark ahead of him, Stewart left the capital club but has found securing his next move a challenge.
But now he's set to don the gloves in Maryhill and assist Partick's promotion push.

How else is a Trust supposed to make decisions if not on the basis of an agreed position of its trustees? This isn’t a trick question, I genuinely don’t understand what you’re getting at.
For the avoidance of doubt, no decision has yet been taken by the Trustees on how to vote on the matters arising under the AGM notice. It is for the Club Board to decide who to put forward for appointment, and they’re entitled to listen to or ignore any feedback from the majority shareholder as they see fit.
This is your projection.
If you are a season ticket holder you are a beneficiary of the PTFC Trust. I have provided you with their contact details.
Several TJF members have already asked us to ask questions about the City End comments and what they actually mean. We intend to do so.
Thats how this works. Fans raise issues with TJF and the Trust and we raise them with the Club!
I sent a few questions (nothing about the Bing) so can I just ask how will the response be dealt with? Will it be replies sent to individuals or a summary sent to all members? Thanks in advance.

Now in the second half of the season (with 100% success rate) so let's put this one in the filing cabinet and await the end of term report.
-
Although Arbroath are not on a great run, apart from the 3-0 defeat to Dundee Utd their recent defeats have all been by 1 goal so I expect them to be tricky opponents tomorrow. They have been struck with a lot of injuries which has meant several players playing with knocks and others having to play the full 90 minutes at a time of year when the games come thick and fast on sometimes heavy pitches.
I think we have enough going forward to win but am not expecting it to be a rout (hope to be proved wrong).

On a similar thought, Jack has not signed an extension, I presume one has been offered, so I expect he will be off in the summer. Should we cash in now if we get an offer ?
That is a good question. I would hope we keep him (unless we get an offer of "silly money") as he does play an important role with his link up with Lawless and if that helps us get through the play offs then we can either offer him a new deal or he can leave with our best wishes.

Correct and last season while we were 5th as this point we made 4th by other results going our way no much real improvement
Doolan only lost 1 game in the regular season after he took over which did represent an improvement on the points per game prior to his appointment.
Now not having a go at you because it is something a lot of people say in football which annoys me. In a league with 9 other teams and each team playing the others 4 times your final position is always going to be a combination of your results and the other teams - they literally list the number of wins, draws and losses in tabular form!

Yes but not our best points total so …
Last time I checked the number in front of your club name in the table was what mattered when it came to deciding who gets promoted, relegated, etc. And even taking your point about points it still represents our 2nd best total which does not, for me anyway, indicate some worrying level of under achieving.

Correct….land the issue is whether the difference in finances are sufficiently large to in itself to make a huge difference in performance and between us and Raith there is no evidence it is.
but let’s not focus on team performance, player recruitment or management.
With nothing better to do today here is our halfway position in each of the Championship seasons since we got relagated from the top flight:
18/19 - 9th (14 points)
19/20 - 9th (18 points)
21/22 - 5th (31 points)
22/23 - 5th (27 points)
23/24 - 3rd (29 points)
So our best league position at this stage of this season and if the manager is doing it with a few players who are not as good as ones who have been here in those previous seasons I say good on him.
