  1. Another reason to go for the 75/76 look is that season we won the league and were promoted back to the top flight (with a former Celtic player in charge).
  2. Don't want to dwell too much on someone who now is not involved with the club but Graham did not know until offered the job that it was Head Coach and not Manager - I find that hard to believe as everyone on here knew that. Anyway, good luck to him next season (unless we get Falkirk in a cup game or the play offs). There was another good interview with Mark Wilson on Jagzone yesterday and I like the way he is going about things so far. I hope that he gets all the support that those above him can give.
  3. I think most people would expect the home kit to be red and yellow but agree that there is scope to do something more retro for the away kit.
  4. Kyle Turner. If you recall he had to come off during the away game against Ayr in the play offs and since then has had an operation for a hip injury. Expected to be out for 3 to 4 months.
  5. We will find out on Wednesday what the home kit looks like but from the little teaser I think we are looking at something which as we can't do 150 or 100 years ago will be like the 75/76 kit. https://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Scottish_Football_League/Partick_Thistle/Partick_Thistle.htm
  6. To use the old cliche he will be like a new signing.
  7. It has been a good addition in my opinion but when you put something out you need to make sure it is followed up. The Fan/Media Event at Greaves - to be confirmed by Friday 20th June, yet Friday comes and goes without anything about this.

  9. Going well but still short of target at the moment: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/redandyellowforall25
  10. I must confess to having a chuckle at some of the comments I have seen on the club's facebook page and on the platform formerly known as twitter. Directors should tell Wilson he can't appoint who he thinks is best for the job and as we are fan owned Rae should apologise to the fans for winding us up when he was a player!
  11. I can't say he was my favourite opposition player but I have heard it said by quite a few people that we as a club are "too nice" and need to be a bit tougher/nastier so maybe it will work. As you say he is in our dugout now so we need him to do well as that means Thistle will be doing well - what we are all about after all?
  12. He (Alex Rae) has plenty of experience as a coach, assistant and manager plus he has his Pro Licence as well so lets judge him on what he actually does for us rather than who he has played for in the past (a few former Thistle greats have had links to both sides of the other 2 teams in Glasgow).
  13. Any man that lifts a major tophy for Thistle is OK by me but surely he is getting on a bit now.
  14. As others have said Bud was in the team during a period the defence in front of him played well so was not having to make save after save but looked competent and has plenty of time on his side. The interesting thing, for me anyway, is will we go for 2 keepers of same age/experience or bring in an older one?
  15. As with the men's team there are players leaving the women's team and best wishes to all of them. https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/thank-you-bulls/ https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/four-depart-ptwfc/
  16. So the team that finished fourth has signed someone from the team that finished 3rd whilst the team that finished 3rd has signed two players from the team that finished fourth and it seems a lot of fans from both teams are happy said players have left. It's a funny old game!
  17. Looks like Banzo will be signing for Ayr.
  18. Welcome to Firhill Paddy, all the best for the season ahead. So, how many Patricks have played for Partick?
  19. 1,000 sold now. https://ptfc.co.uk/season-tickets/
  20. No jackpot winner this month so £6,500 up for grabs next month. Well done to the winners of the other prizes. https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/ptfc-lotto-june-draw-results/
  21. Just over 3 hours before this month's draw so still time to get your entries and be in with a chance of winning the £6,000 jackpot. https://partickthistlefc.clubforce.com/products/lotto/partick-thistle-football-club-lotto Good Luck!
  22. Sorry to see Stuart step down and wish him all the best, hopefully he will still manage to get to Firhill during the season.
