Just to keep you updated, we were able to hand out 300 flyers about easyfundraising at yesterday's game (thanks to everyone who took one) and an update was in the Trust's page of the programme (which I know you all read even if won't admit to it). With today being the last day of October I will post the total raised in the month on here tomorrow. We are still one person short of having 150 registered members so if someone who has not registered could do so it would make me a very happy man (I know, I must get out more).
Thanks again for your support

Hello, just to point you in the direction of some information regarding a prize draw the Trust will be holding.
-
I thought we were okay on the first half and then upped the tempo in the second, got the goal and I was never worried about them scoring. I was only worried that numpty of a ref would give them a soft penalty or let a blatantly offside goal stand because he was completely in favour of Cowdenbeath the whole game

A late reminder for today's game! If you want to come along to the Trust kiosk in the North Enclosure of the JH Stand and join either the Trust or Centenary Fund (or both) prior to kick off we would be very pleased to see you! If you just want to come along for a chat that is fine as well. You can also join the Trust online by visiting our website - www.jagstrust.co.uk.

No, it's your brain as well as YOUR computer that was switched off, otherwise you'd have seen my posts defending Paddy Boyle, and applauding (despite my initial admitted scepticism) the signing of BMMMH.
Not nothering to check your facts before you let your belly rumble puts you in the same category as the Scottish football 'media'. What a lazy @rsed post.
And Bunter can still GTF.
Hopefully, unlike the Scottish media, I can still hold my hands up when in the wrong.
Obviously I have missed the posts that you mention and I am happy to apologise to you for any upset that may have caused.

The players were emotionally devasted as Stirling's fans did not give us a minutes applause before the game!

Why do you disagree about McCall? Not a dig just interested to know. My view is we are bottom of the league whilst playing utterly garbage football and it has been like this since January. I was on the fence until recently but results like this and the defeat at home to Stirling and away to Cowdenbeath have shown that the bad performances on show aren't unusual
I don't believe that simply getting rid of him would result in a huge improvment on the park, that does not mean that I think he is doing a great job because, as you say, we have not been performing well for most of 2010. However, I do think that off the field activities have played a role in that. The thing we all need to realise is that it is highly unlikely that the Board can afford to sack him (if they had the money do to that then they should have given it to the manager to better the squad) and given the current economic situation I doubt whether he (or anyone else in his position) will simply "walk away".

No computer not broken jst not really in the mood for any discussion. Do u disagree with my points? Or u just lookin for sum1 else to take ur frustration out on? Do u need a cuddle?
Yes I disagree with your points. Not looking for anyone to take my frustations out on. No thanks on the cuddle offer

Hello, have your computers been broken for the last couple of weeks as I don't recall seeing you whilst we were winning?

After losing 4-2 to Stirling you might want to either drink or comfort eat, whatever you do just make sure you order through one of these retailers on easyfundraising:

This should really be earning a lot more for the JT. Nearly 150 folk signed up yet only £13 is made in a quarter!! I'd imagine that a lot of people have registered during the initial clamour in the .net days and have simply forgotten about it. This is exactly what had happened with me but I'm now trying to remember whenever I shop online to have a look and see whether the JT can benefit.
Is it not maybe an idea to ask the WeareThistle guys to do a wee article about it on the front page of the site and also have it posted in the main area of the thread with Xmas coming up. You could also ask the Harry Wraggs boys to give it a wee bump also as there is undoubted money to be made with Xmas coming up. Might be worth a wee leaflet drop at Firhill reminding folk.
Would it not also be an idea to earmark this money for something specific like going towards the Players Fund? If there was something to aim for people might be more inclined to do it.
Firstly, thanks for your support of the Trust through easyfundraising as it is much appreciated.
I agree with all of the points that you have made and will be taking action on them, the leaflet idea will be taking place at the next home game (if there are any volunteers for helping with this then please PM me).
Having looked at the figures for 2008, 2009 and what we are projecting for 2010 then this year will be the lowest total raised but with all of the economic difficulties which are impacting on everyone that will have been a big factor in this, however it is up to the Trust Board to ensure that, at the least, people are aware of these schemes and how they can benefit the Trust and we want to end the year with a good quarter and take that in to 2011.
