A big game today at home to Aberdeen - a victory and we are almost certain to be top 6 at the split. Kick off is 4.10pm as the game is on BBC Alba for those that can't make it along.

Unfortunately your figures are not correct
The Rangers Game was a one off - it generated £300K - so to replace it we need to generate the same from increasing Revenues elsewhere - if we dont Revenues are down
We had £300K debts from last Year which were paid out of this Years Revenue
So in Total thats £600K - we average circa £2.5MN Turnover - so my Question is simple - where is the £600K in Revenue that we are down going to come from ? There was no detailed response
The £150K loss is a best case Forecast Half Way through the Year - any losses it comes out of the USA Money - we continue with a loss - we need the other £500K and sell more Shares
That's fine - no issue with that - BUT - we are supposed to be Fan Owned and we are selling of Shares to offset Trading Losses - if that's the Plan & TJF are OK with it - Tell people that
If its not the Plan - then the Trusts get a Board that can balance the Budget ?
This Wee Cosy Relationship is a recipe for Disaster
I had asked TJF to ask a question about the budget and got a response which was that the £150K loss was based (footballing wise) on a 3rd place league finish and not getting beyond Ross County in the Scottish Cup. There would be other factors - crowds, hospitality uptake, etc as well. If we end up finishing 2nd in the league and get beyond Ross County next weekend is it your assertion that we still lose £150K (assuming the non football targets are met) as that is not what I took the response I received to mean?

They certainly do, along with soap and education.

Must confess to not rating Carson but hopefully we hold on to McMillan until the end of the season - I don't think there would be any lack of effort even if he signs a PCA.

7 points out of 9 in 2024 - good going.
Probably one for Michael Max - quite a few yellow cards today, do we have any players heading for/close to a suspension?

Thanks for the reminder.

Any club claiming to have serious ambitions should be providing chocolate Hobnobs.
Seconded!

Looking forward to hearing the key points from tonight's AGM - do we have chocolate digestives at board meetings whilst poor old Raith directors have to make do with ordinary digestives?
In all seriousness an update would be appreciated.

I’m basing my view on comments from Colin Cameron and ian Murray at Raith. they have a higher opinion of him than you do.
Raith are making no financial commitments beyond the summer. We are.I am not sure I understand that last point - they have players contracted beyond the end of this season, recently extended the manager's deal by 3 years and have to maintain their stadium, etc all of which takes a certain amount of money. Sorry if I have misunderstood your point.

Or given raith said today they were hopeful of keeping him we offered him more money.
Facts only please!
Just joking, it could be that the money is much the same but the extra year swung it. Also he might live nearer us so would be saving money on travel costs. Anyway, happy with the signing and what Doolan is doing in this window.

Things are moving ahead off the pitch so if you have any views/comments I would urge you to respond to this consultation:

A good signing ahead of a big game at home on Sunday against Aberdeen who are our main rivals for a top 6 place.

Back with a bang. A 4-2 victory against Motherwell to progress to the next round in the Scottish Cup. Came from behind twice but totally bossed the second half. Well done!

Me and my son agree. Like the way he covers the pitch - must be hard work to defend against. He also combine well with Robinson.
Is he on the groundstaff as well?

More rumours:
Dundee United are leading the race to sign talented Queen’s Park skipper Dom Thomas.
The 27-year-old has been a bright light for struggling Spiders and pitched in with a vital goal in Friday’s 2-1 win over Dunfermline.
That’s alerted a host of Championship rivals and sparked a bidding war to land the former
Scotland Under-21 star.Title favourites Dundee United look the winger’s most likely destination but league leaders Raith Rovers and Partick Thistle are also interested.
It’s understood that all three clubs have contacted Queen’s Park and are willing to pay a fee for the winger.
Spiders will wait for the best offer but it’s understood that Thomas would prefer a move to the Tannadice outfit.
Tangerines boss Jim Goodwin is eager to bolster his side’s attack this month and views Thomas – who had spells at Motherwell, Kilmarnock and the Pars – as key to United’s bid to bounce straight back up to the Premiership.
Jags boss Kris Doolan is also desperate to add more firepower.

Ross Stewart confirmed:

-
Former Hearts keeper Ross Stewart is set to sign for Partick Thistle.
The ex-Tynecastle backup has been without a club since the summer after his deal in Gorgie ended.
With Craig Gordon and Zander Clark ahead of him, Stewart left the capital club but has found securing his next move a challenge.
But now he's set to don the gloves in Maryhill and assist Partick's promotion push.

How else is a Trust supposed to make decisions if not on the basis of an agreed position of its trustees? This isn’t a trick question, I genuinely don’t understand what you’re getting at.
For the avoidance of doubt, no decision has yet been taken by the Trustees on how to vote on the matters arising under the AGM notice. It is for the Club Board to decide who to put forward for appointment, and they’re entitled to listen to or ignore any feedback from the majority shareholder as they see fit.
This is your projection.
If you are a season ticket holder you are a beneficiary of the PTFC Trust. I have provided you with their contact details.
Several TJF members have already asked us to ask questions about the City End comments and what they actually mean. We intend to do so.
Thats how this works. Fans raise issues with TJF and the Trust and we raise them with the Club!
I sent a few questions (nothing about the Bing) so can I just ask how will the response be dealt with? Will it be replies sent to individuals or a summary sent to all members? Thanks in advance.

Now in the second half of the season (with 100% success rate) so let's put this one in the filing cabinet and await the end of term report.

Well done on a fairly comfortable 2-0 win, now have an 11 point lead on Aberdeen with a goal difference advantage of 31 and just 5 games until the split.
