  1. I felt pretty comfortable through that. Pretty surprised at negativity on here. would have been more comfortable if the referee had done his job but despite that Thistle won without looking too strained.

Some of Accies tackling was downright dangerous. They look to be in a bad way after their relegation. And only about 50 or 100 people turning up to watch them in a local game must be depressing.

  2. I'm thinking I'll go today. First time back. Don't have a decent smart phone or a printer but the website seems to show that the cabins behind the JHS will be open for selling tickets. Hadn't realised that,  can someone confirm?

  3. Not sure why you'd have to ignore a person's most obvious physical characteristic when describing someone you don't know. Especially where it distinguishes them from others

Bald, blonde,  ginger, fat (a bit rude), white (when playing for Cameroon,  for example).

  4. You often hear people making wild claims about things rotten at the core of clubs etc after a few bad results.

But the way that Falkirk dropped their managers, to be replaced by Gary Holt, (who sounded constantly angry on the radio, even before games started), and the way they have colapsed; it looks really bad.

Obviously things probably would have turned out differently, and we would obviously have approached this game differently- but if that last minute Airdrie strike had gone in and all else remained the same,  they would have pipped us

Take out the head to heads and they beat us by 7 clear points. One point against us all season could have won them the league

  6. Listening to them talking about social media blackout and the abuse that people are emboldened to post due to the anonymous nature of it.  Difficult to tackle on the big scale, but I've always thought that on a forum like this we should all be able to be open about it. I know many on here know each other personally and we're usually pretty decent to each other, but still...

So if anyone would like to identify themselves then here's the opportunity. Just a suggestion.

Truly remarkable, as is losing only one of the last 18 matches. Worthy champions, indeed!

For me, Thursday's performance is right up there with yon 5-1 game vs Dunfermline in our last promotion season. Exciting, fast passing football. And although Williamson has come in for criticism at times, he is really good when he goes on those marauding runs; reminds me of SOD and ATS.

Yes, definitely the same feel as that game. When the big event arrived and everything clicked.

The difference this season is we didn't have the big games in the calendar, waiting for them well in advance. I remember the Morton game that season, looking at the fixtures probably about two months before it and already feeling anxious about it at that stage.

This month the games just kept coming and we were taking them on one at a time. The short period of time may have helped us to just build the momentum and keep it going.

Eta- 23 goals in one month has to be a club record, surely

  8. Interesting reading this thread today.

I don't mean this as a dig at anybody; we were all feeling it. I remember being struck at how I couldn't even get particularly excited by a last minute goal. But in retrospect the moment that our season turned happened in this game.

Since half time in that game we have scored 22 and conceded 2. Hard to believe it was this month!
