  1. St Johnstone's form since late September is very average. 3 wins, 4 draws, 2 defeats.
  2. This is some run of fixtures we are on. After beating St Johnstone our next three games have effectively been against our next closest challengers. (Ayr were third, Arbroath are now third, Dunfermline had a game in hand and would have gone third with a draw against us).
  3. 12 points ahead of 5th is such a Thistle way of looking at it. Especially when we're 11 points ahead of 3rd.
  4. As a Thistle fan I reckon it's always the first milestone... I think we're probably safe!
  5. Fair play, from where he starts that isn't really a goalscoring opportunity. Not great by the keeper right enough.
  6. We're making a right good go of it. I still reckon St Johnstone will have the edge, but I think most people do and maybe that suits us. The great thing about pulling away from the rest is that it only takes St Johnstone to fall away, we keep ticking over, and the title is there for the taking.
  7. I think we beat a good team there. Felt like we carried through the momentum from Tuesday night. Then remembered that St Johnstone are also Scottish. Well done Jags!
  8. If you hadn't been stung by following the Jags for many years, I think you'd be saying that the top two have pulled away.
  9. League table after today's matches looking a lot more healthy than it was two minutes into injury time last night. Great set of results today!
  10. We absolutely gifted them their best chances. So sloppy. However I come away feeling okay. You'll always have some poor games so taking a lucky point tonight isn't a bad outcome.
  11. I think it stopped when I got bigger than my Dad
  12. Anyone got the stat on how many goals we scored from our midfield 3 last season, against how many we have already this season?
  13. I always thought he kind of enhanced it. 4-1 to Thistle, and just to underline that it was a proper Celtic team, Kenny Dalglish scored the consolation.
  14. Absolutely this. Every unbeaten run comes to an end. But the important thing is what happens next.
  15. I'd say 99% of the general population but only about 20% of this forum
  16. Admittedly I wasn't at the game. But I have no complaints about an away game that we apparently dominated and came away with a draw, scoring in injury time. Bit of spirit there.
  17. Agree that it's frustrating. On the other hand, 16 points from 18. You'll never win every game
  18. I find it quite sad. QP has such historical importance, in world football never mind Scottish football.
  19. What's going on with QP by the way? Turned professional and a couple of years ago looked like they were investing to grow. Now in a stadium that isnt big enough for the Junior leagues?
  20. This run we are on is getting ridiculously good. 11 wins, 1 draw, 2 defeats. I actually think the extent and profile of the defeats, and the consistency of St Johnstone, have disguised how well the start of this season has gone. Which is maybe no bad thing.
  21. Ten wins, a draw and two defeats so far in a season where people were talking about hoping to avoid relegation. Doing well.
  22. I think that's ever so harsh
