  1. I am not too fussed about the saving personally. I like the idea that I pay the £30 when I get paid and don't need to worry at home games about the cost. I can imagine it will get a few more PATG fans buying a season ticket.
  2. You can do the Finance option which actually isn't too bad. Can't get the figures from the website cos it's not working but I read it earlier and it was working out at only £30ish for 10 months. Not too bad really!
  3. Apologies if this is covered elswhere! http://ptfc.co.uk/ne...s_-_now_on_sale Only £20 increase for current season ticket holders and only £35 increase for new Season ticket holders. Also great there offering a finance option as this really helps and makes it more affordable for everyone! ETA. Looking after those kids who are now 16 and only chariging £50 and those who are 17 are only £75. Great from the club! Really impressed and this was well worth waiting for!
  4. Agreed getting the train is impossible unless you want to sit on a rail replacement bus service on the way back!
  5. The way I see it is least the away club are getting something compared to the nothing they would get if I didn't go. It's much better when you look at it like that!
  6. haha no worries! I really should have said! At away games I only do it as it means extra beer money! Some grounds are easier than others ha! No idea what I will do now we are in the SPL!
  7. I buy an adult season ticket and sit in the north stand. Never, not even in my student days have I went in as an under 16. So i am one of those "thousands of honest fans". My post was referring to away games, maybe I should have specified that, but I thought that would have been clear , nevermind.
  8. How do you prove someone is under 16 though? They don't carry id.
  9. Right well you will probably get a ticket with a barcode. The barcode then goes into the ticket machine/scan it. That's how it works elsewhere at least. You can also turn these types of turnstyles of so it is PATG, if Falkirk are anything to go by.
  10. For years we have had a pay at the gate policy where any one under 16 or not can claim to be under 16 and get in for free. Now imagine we have pay at the gate next season, consider the prices of SPL football who in their right mind would pay £20+ for a game they could if they chance their luck see for free? The small number of tickets will probably still be a fair number it's just fans of the away club will need to ask their club for the free ticket, which is probably a lot harder to do than sneak in as a under 16 at PAG. I say this as I only paid adult prices at 3 games last season (our 3 ticketed games). I chanced my luck at every ground and saved a fortune.
  11. The man of match for me was Seagull.
  12. None, Players left straight after the awards.
  13. http://ptfc.co.uk/media/photo_galleries/miscellaneous_galleries/2012-2013/player_of_the_year Do you think she's still humming at her desk? Funniest moment of the night.
  14. Aye make the team suffer because of the actions of 1 man. This season has shown the difference a vocal support can make. I will be there supporting the team because that is what it's about not HIM!
  15. Worst case scenario suggests that it is avoidable and people should only go there as a last resort!
  16. Munns and the people running it have made an effort this season. Giving out food before the games and it's actually not bad pre-match Was it not you who said don't slag other business as these are hard working people trying to make a living and comments such as these could have an impact?
  17. Great idea. The last Dumbarton game was dreadful for this reason and oh aye the result didn't help either OneThistle get on the case!
  18. Dumbarton home end is on sale now and advised Thistle fans to speak to the club. But no word yet. Just need to wait and see. Ideally would be great if on sale this weekend.
  19. I am working all of next week so there is no chance I would make it to Firhill to pick up tickets. So if they sold them at the game on Saturday or Firhill cup I could make it to buy them.
  20. Would be great if the club could sell them to season ticket holders before Saturdays game.
  21. Covered so much recently. Beatie said in the Daily Record article last week -kids go free is staying. Discussed here: http://www.wearethistle.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/7873-buying-tickets-online-for-next-season-in-spl-and-admission-prices/
