  1. Very much alive and kicking mate....we should be able to help you out no problem....drop me an email on [email protected] and if I happen to miss it from my spam you can Tweet me too @thekennymac....cheers.....
  2. Everyone's circumstances are different, but I've never bought a season ticket because it saved me money, I've always bought one as a donation to the club I love, which just happens to come with a bonus of free entry to some games...season tickets allow clubs to better budget for squads v's pay-at-the-gate... I do, though, appreciate that money is tight so fair play to those who feel pay at the gate offers better value for money, but if value for money is what you're looking for, there is an argument that 17quid at Firhill is a rip-off!!
  3. Thanks, yes, Newsroom it is tomorrow night, for our Meet The Manager and General Manager night..... (just doesnt have the same ring to it!)
  4. A bump...ie an underused conjunction of something plus -age to make a relatively pointless new word...see also, coinage, beerage, you could also take it to a different level if you needed a taxi by trying to order a cab(b)age !!
  5. To anyone in the East of Scotland who's not on my mailing list, the EoS branch will be holding another Meet-the-Manager night next week with not only Jackie in attendance but Ian Maxwell too. I'm in the process of confirming a venue once I have confirmed the number of members and guests in attendance, but the door is open for any non-East coast folks who happen to work in Edinburgh or just fancy making the trip to the Big Smoke to meet our esteemed guests. RSVP
  6. Anyone travelling from the wastelands of the East to the even more wasted lands of Falkirkshire? Email to follow to those on the dist-list, failing which, please post! Cheers Kenny
  7. Ladies and gents It's that time of year....the magic of the Scottish Cup as a positive distraction from the banality of league duty and off the park problems. A chance to remember famous replay victories. A chance to dream. I'm not going because I can't be bothered. Seriously, I may not be attending as I might have free corporate at Murrayfield.....I know, I know....... That said, whilst last Saturday I said I was not going regardless, I can't help but change my mind again... Who else feels the passion....the excitement.....the prospect of an SPL tie (Killie!)....knowing that a loss doesn't actually really matter! RSVP
  8. Looks like its yooz and my lot, both with family related shenanigans, so we'll see you there....
  9. Anyone heading up at the weekend? I'm up for it.....should be an interesting day out to be honest...don't know whether they will bounce back or capitulate... Happy to help swell their coffers, provided the deduction stands....otherwise I want a refund....or Leigh Griffiths. Let me know...
  10. Who fancies the trip through on Saturday? Unfortunately I'm 'up north' but can coordinate lifts etc.... Let me know asap Cheers
  11. Having close family ties with Dundee, I'd be gutted to see them go. They mean a lot to people I care about and therefore would not want to see them go through losing your club as I know exactly how I would feel if the boot was on the other foot. I don't want any club to go bust (well, I might have to think about Airdrie...) but I do think Dundee have unfairly taken advantage and should be made to pay. Personally, I'd like to see them relegated in the same manner that Livi were. I would have thought that was the precedent, espescially for a second offence. Not sure how they can argue differently. To that end I agree with Grant - lets tar and feather them with the Third Division. We've too much competetive history - where's the excitement in Thistle v's Stirling Albion, or Elgin or Annan? Nowhere. Thats part of the reason crowds are dwindling and our game is on it's last legs. Be careful what you wish for. In 5 years we might have about 20 teams left in Scotland, and if that's the case, there's a good chance we won't be at the party.
  12. Bum. Gear. In. Righto, anyone from the East crew travelling through, please let me know ......email responses so far have been meagre. New signings. Renewed Hope. Etc. Allcomers welcome... Chairs
