The only fact that counts is our results. They are dreadful and no amount of attempted deflection can alter that.

Please tell me this Facebook poll is taken from the Thistle fans page, which is widely accepted, is full of the absolute wallopers in our support.
Widely accepted by who? Does this mean that those on this site are also wallopers because the majority are now of the reasonable opinion that change is now badly needed?

I wonder if those who are responsible for closing a football thread by delving into areas they should not are in any way apologetic or shame faced? Just saying...
Note to admin. Close this thread now before the eejits return

First point. I supported keeping archie on despite the results. I was wrong. Sometimes you have to admit it otherwise you look rather foolish. The facts speak for themself. Is it all down to archie? Probably not......but football is a harsh game albeit pretty well rewarded. On the evidence in 2018 we have been absysmal. Time for change. End of story.

I said to a few mates at the game he has 6 games max to turn this round. He has had a fair crack of the whip. As most have said we are clearly going backwards. If it becomes even more obvioua we are not even good enough for the play offs he has to be replaced. With our resources that is a reasonable expectation.

They pass the ball sideways as they are not good enough to pass forwards. The worst midfield I have been unfortunate enough to witness.

That performance has relegation written all over it. Horrible to watch. Im usual glass half full but i cant see this team score never mind win....

For what its worth I thought David Beattie done an excellent job. Hopefully the next chairperson will do a similar job.

I agree. I thought Booth was an excellent player for us. Im amazed some fans have belittled him tbh. Fickle

To try and compare PTFC with Ferguson and MUFC is a tad fanciful.

True, keeping Archie would also be a gamble, hes being asked to attract and assemble a new squad and is expected to win the league, people may argue he won the league, but bare in mind he inherited the league winning squad from Jackie McNamara
Ive heard it said that McCall and McNamara are somehow due some kudos for Archies tenure. Really? They werent there....end of. That said I'm fairly sure that now is the time for change. Yes its a gamble whether we stick or twist. Lets be honest the Thistle style under Archie is pretty obvious and the last years signings have failed.

If we could get 6000 or above could be a game changer. Full north stand would help. Nb why oh why do we almost always attack the north stand first half rather than second half? Bemuses me...

We really really need erskine for this one....if we cant overcome livvy over two legs well and truly we deserve relegation. The question is can archie motivate this team. I hope so

You'd never know we had to win this game. Gutless and spineless as always!
Oh dear....

Well done guys. Brave. Not spineless as someone said above.....

We are where we deserve to be....another 30 mins of decent play and then outplayrd until last 5 mins. If we survive it will be sheer luck. Thank god im on holiday and i cant make saturday.....or the play offs...if we make it.
