  1. Agree with most of what has been said. I go to about 75 PC of home games, very few away games and Scottish cup ties. I've done this for over 40 years. I still like the freedom to pick and choose my games depending on form, weather and opposition. Like many I rarely go to see us v the OF for the reasons stated during the thread. The only way we will ever grow our support is to break the OF monopoly, but that looks unlikely, despite rangers woes. I'm not sure how much the club can do and I can see they are trying with pricing. I still like to see a discount for those in the north sound. Encourage more to go there, build the atmosphere which may trigger more people coming? Not an easy one to resolve..

  2. Amazing, some folk want to drone on about this, especially pilloring the usual suspects. I hope to god I never have the misfortune of sitting or standing beside some of the supporters ( sic ) on here. One guy I recently had to endure slagged of bannigan for the whole game! Totally clueless. I don't have a problem with thoughtful criticism, but does it have to be so personal? I remain of the view this is a good time to be a jags fan. Hopefully we will continue to improve. Glass half full

  3. Going on the ptfc international supporters bus to see Scotland v Wales in late 70s. All the way to Swansea and back in one day. One guy had a flask of beans for sustenance !

  4. I've signed the petition. I've never bought a season ticket, but still go to about two thirds of our home games. That increased as a direct result of going to the NS and enjoying the atmosphere. I would never give up on the Jags, but I may go to less games if the match day experience is less enjoyable.

If the end game is to modernise Firhill completely, to make it a four sided stadium, fair enough. But let's hear the truth rather than trying to guess it.
