Theres a first a Manager in football talking a load of garbage, well stone the crows. So hard to imagine aint it As for the dross this season disappoiting yes but hardly in the same manner as the teams that got us relegated 2 years running, plus the playing budget has been tiny by comparison. We finished 6th this season, not that surprising considering we have our playing budget is only about 6th or 7th in the league

Yet Damon Gray has still scored one more goal than Doolan and look how much he was criticised. He can at least still score goals in a lower division even if it is with Berwick, Doolan still hasnt scored any in 2010 with either Clyde or ourselves. If Gray was not good enough then neither is Doolan.

Neither Donnelly or Doolan are going to score enough goals to get us to challenge at the top. However with Donnelly you are getting a coach who by all accounts has been excellent in charge of the under 19's. We do need a couple of new strikers in and if it makes it easier to getting it done by having Doolan off the wage bill then I feel it has to be done.

Agree with you. If McNamara is bought in then he can perform the dual functions. If the Board are not providing enough money for new signings then its important we get Maxwell off our books to at least free up a wage

Im perfectly happy being a heterosexual thanks. As a player though would be happy to have him in the Jags team, easily could do a job for us. As someone else mentioned we need to stop looking at Juniors and sign someone who can score his share of goals and Calrke can easily do that in this divison.

Am I irght in thinking neither Celtic nor Rangers are playing this weekend? If it is being promoted as the last game of the season and under 16's getting in for free, as well as a possible gala day we could get a few of those neutrals along.

A couple of followers of English teams who work in the same place as me have been persuaded by me to come along. They arent to familar with how Thistle have been doing lately, which is probably just as well.

I sent an Email to Alan Cowan stating that it would be a good time to unveil new signings just before they launch the new season tickets for next year. Unfortuantely the reply I got was that due to the financial situation with the budget being cut do not expect many if any new signings and those likely to be made will just be before the new season starts. Not exactly the best news
