Could you define what "the likes of Madden" (and his peers) means? Did you mean most refs in SPL or Scotland only, or most in general, are like him? Are you suggesting Madden and the likes incorporate a player's skin colour into his refereeing decisions?

That might have been a more lopsided game than the Barca-Celtic 7-0 match. Even the pea in ref's whistle fell asleep before the third peep.

Thistle, by far, the better side but last 10 minutes of half it seems they're already switching from attack to defense. Defense has been much better in the air (save Scully's miss on the cross) but (other than Barton who seems in a league of his own) the defenders just continue to back off and refuse to stick a foot in. Thistle might be the epitome of "the best defense is a good offense" Thrilled, but still not comfortable, with the one-goal lead at half.

Haha. I was just getting ready to post how slow Azeez' reaction time was and he floats a nice header to far corner away from goalie.

Greatest day ever!!!!! I still have my ticket stub. I was 14 at the time so, relatively speaking, every footballer seemed "old". Amazing to think that half of that team was 21yo or younger. I think Roughie and Forsyth (at 19) were the "babies".

oh yeah....and put up with listening to the Rangers guys calling the game. They might be worse than the two Celtic clowns that do their games
