Very much expecting 3-0 to Celtic, think we'll play well enough to not get pumped but it'll be extremely difficult to get a draw.

In the future I will wait at least 10 games before properly judging players and will not be so expletive about players that are not quite good enough but there's not that many players at Thistle just now that are not quite good enough!

Good news! Livi just scored in extra time, if they hold on and if we (hopefully) get them in the draw we should be easily beating them with our full strength team!

How can some people be so pessimistic, it's only the first game if we had had some more players fit like Turnbull, Spittal, Dumbuya etc. then we would have got a much better result and if Archie plays the right set up then this season we'll be at least 7th, a back 4 just doesn't work with the defenders we have as our full backs are usually very high up the pitch and we lose a lot of goals from this flaw in the system. In my opinion if we played a 3 at the back it would allow Booth and Elliott to bomb up the pitch as usual without putting too much pressure on the defence as they will have an extra man to deal with any counter attacks. Shouldn't expect much at a full Easter Road with a buoyant Hibs side but if we still can't take points off them at Firhill then that would be quite frankly poor.

That was me! Just a quick summary of the match. We need another striker urgently, Nisbet just isn't good enough, could have played Erskine up front and brought McLaughlin on then put him on the wing. The loss of Spittal really affected us today, if we had him delivering the corners I'm confident we would've got at least one more goal, we could really do with a Higgy type player who can play striker too. The midfield was almost non existent apart from Osman and his scraps with John McGinn. Some of the few positives were, we weren't playing at full strength so we have an excuse! Also it was nice to see a full ground for once in a while, wish we could get that at Firhill!

A lot of people on P&B are saying 2,000 plus some Hibs and Thistle pages on twitter. So fairly sure it's 2,000.

What a load of sh**e! Why would we not want him? What's this about his record being not much better than Azeez, that's because he doesn't get a game at Aberdeen! The last time in his career he played regularly (with Inverness) he got 11 goals so his goalscoring record is much better than Azeez!

Think Turnbull will be starting. We need a more solid midfield because it's Hibs so if I had to drop one of the three behind Doolan it would be Erskine as I think he's been the least impressive out of him, Lawless and Spittal. Great news! Reckon we only need a striker as Muzzy is only out for a month or 2 so Elliott will do for that time and we can play Devine or Keown there in an emergency. If we get someone in who can play striker/winger/attacking midfielder then I think that'll do for this summer. Turnbull can also play left-back if Booth is injured.
