  1. by all accounts it's a bit of an 80s throwback. Terracing, pishing against a wall, fighting after the game and supporters buses getting bricked. Bring it on
  2. Red and yellow wavy hoops rather than straight across.
  3. That's the 3rd time in the last 5 years we've been put out by the winners.
  4. both Brechin and Cowdenbeath are a pain in the ass to get to via public transport. The possibility of 3 Fife teams in the league is not an enticing one. edit- it would appear a r s e is autocensored and americanised. blimey.
  5. Don't like any of them, there's a few I'm neutral about and some I can wish nothing but ill on.
  6. Quite pleased Stirling are up, I've a couple of friends that support the Binos and we normally make a day of it when Thistle play there. Shame about Ayr, but losing 9 of your last 10 games (no prizes for guessing the 10th) isn't going to do. Not sure who I want to win the playoffs.
  7. Maxi's dual role next year... the cart AND the horse.
  8. I’m not that sure he has. I think Corcoran is probably our only quick player but he takes about 30 yards to get going. Bit O/T on this thread, which has kind of drifted anyway with the Doolan discussion, but I’ve always thought it would be interesting to see the stats at pre-season training –or at various points in the season- in an NFL style e.g. 40 yard sprint, bleep test, standing vertical jump, shuttle runs, bodyfat % (OK, maybe not the 100kg bench press). Could certainly confirm or confound opinions held about certain players.
  9. Aye, because Ayr beating Morton won’t affect Morton’s goal difference at all. I’d quite like Morton to go down, they should actually be a decent team with the bankroll they’ve got. Ayr’s a decent day out so I’d like them to stay up. Would also be funny if Airdrie lost in the playoffs for the 4th year running after all the ground they’ve clawed back just to get there.
  10. Ayr are at home to County, but that scenario would be just dandy.
  11. Spare a thought for the Morton fans who travelled to Dingwall on a Monday night to lose in the 92nd minute. Or not. An Airdrie win on Saturday guarantees them at least a play off place, and if Ayr beat Morton then Morton could go straight down!
