  1. Young Adam’s misdemeanours stemmed from having a severe gambling problem ,  he was a fantastic lad who touched everyone he met but an addiction made him desperate , things he done was solely down to desperation

    RIP Adam  gone too soon

That’s why they (OF) want ‘colt teams’ destroying the integrity of the lower Scottish Leagues. They can then buy even more foreign talent, plunder and fillet other Scottish teams of their potential young talent (at the same time as weakening rivals) and continue their hegemony over the Scottish game. They would like this  to go on forever. They only believe in the two-team league in Scotland, with other teams, the fall guys or stooges. They certainly don’t consider the effects this has on Scottish football. In fact, they DON’T very much care about Scottish football, with the ultimate aim of doing a moonlight flit out of it if the opportunity ever arises. Yes, it stinks, but of course we have their useful idiot Neil Doncaster (and others) to do their bidding and facilitate their every demand. He’s even just secured additional income for the Ibrox Tweedledee, without them having to even advertise the product (cinch) to get it. No doubt Tweedledum will be calling with another demand sooner or later. I don’t know this lad but I would be surprised if his future didn’t turn out to be harmed by his decision not to learn his trade at a smaller team, actually become a regular first-team player, BEFORE the bigger move. (IF he proves good enough AND stays the course. Perhaps he should have a chat with Aiden Fitzpatrick? ) But, it does pose legitimate questions about the sense of operating a production line where our very best products are taken, before we even have a chance to sample them ourselves. Presumably if we stick with it, we’ll only get to use those below the very best, which is  galling and a travesty in sport. But then, many teams in football these days, care little for ‘sport’ and ‘sporting behaviour’, it being replaced by ruthless ambition. The much-vaunted ‘European Super League’ is the epitome of that vision, despite those English teams ‘chickening out’ at the last minute a few years ago. And, no doubt our perennial gruesome twosome would be drooling, if the prospect of getting a piece of that action every became a real possibility some time in the future!

I’m not convinced he is the player that left us. Certainly QotS supporters were not raving about him. He did have pace which we sadly lack, so providing he is not a top wage earner, probably worth a punt.

Not kicked his arse and we take him back , I hope NOT

Plenty of players are released by clubs at 18, 19, 20 etc etc …..the issue is whether you believe they are good enough…..Sena is an unproven player at championship level…..I haven’t seen him at Montrose so I don’t know how well he’s done …..I’m going to make the assumption McCall and his staff have.

id love him to do well I should add.

McCall hopeless, you really need to listen to his videos when he’s discussed player’s ability and what he thinks of them , basically they have all turned out shite

Yes. And Sena is a football player.

I would be glad if he actually remains with us next season after all. It’s what makes us different from the other two teams in Glasgow that don’t play at Firhill.

Take up another sport to watch clown

Congratulations. You must be really chuffed to hear a young lad, who went through horrendous teen age years awaiting finalisation of his UK status, may now be deemed possibly surplus to our requirements.

Well done. It looks like you may well have been right all along. Proud of you. :thumbsup2:

never one to be fooled by a bit of spin when shelling out thousands per season following the team

I see you fell for the spin like numerous others , me i personally look at ability and what players bring to the team , Are we not a football club ?

    Good luck to Sena.

I hope he returns with rave notices.

And silences the above inane chat.

Good Evening, have you sorted out those cataracts

You don't know how lucky you are.

I would love to and was supposed to be at the game today.

It's great walking to Firhill in any weather but I always liked it better on a day like today. Somehow Summer football has a falseness about it for me.

I'm glad to say that both The Charlatans and Deacon Blue done the right thing and postponed their gigs this weekend, which made the decision to not travel much easier.

Was really looking forward to today and it 'could' be a cracker.

Having said that, my only other recollection of a Raith game was a 0-0 bore draw in the late 80's I think.

We hit the bar in the first seconds before I got in the ground. I heard it though. The only other highlight, if you can call it that, was a massive Buster Blood Vessel type Raith 'fan', with no top on and loads of tattoos, shouting 'Raith' at the top of his voice, next to the Thistle fans on the City End terracing. We were all terrified I'm sure.

Anyone else remember that or was it just a feeling?

I'm sure he'd got no brains, as he certainly wasn't walking in the sunshine with a special brew.

    Enjoy the game everyone.

so didn’t travel due to music being cancelled FFS , What about the game FFS
