Piss poor. They weren't great but still had probably the best 2 chances off the game. Agree Doolan had to try something and get Aiden into the game.
And have we stopped spending money on the pitch. Worst its been since warriors shared with us.

Well done to everyone who has played a part in getting this done. Especially the guys at the PTFC trust who got the shares of JL in the 1st place. Took a lot of flack at the time but always said this was the end goal.

I feel that maintaining the Academy should be a major way for the club, producing our own players from an early age supplemented by "feeding in" some teenagers discarded by other Clubs should/could, as @fifexile said, reduce some wages and hopefully bring some cash back to the Club through transfers , sell on and training fees etc.
This does require a commitment that we are willing to give the youngsters game time and also commit long term to the Academy. As a fan owned Club we hopefully will have a say in this and make this a priority.
Looking at Hamilton a few years back, they did really well at this a few years back but due to a number of events and decisions seem to have given up on this. Although, I have no idea of their current team make up.
Hamilton still have 1 of the best youth set ups in the country. Sold 3 teenagers to English clubs in the summer

I see Jamie Barjonas scored Sevco’s 2nd in their win v Nice. Giving the ugly sisters scores in this tournament and him scoring it begs the question....Is the French league a pub league?
Barjonas is well thought of at rangers along with the lad Mayo...Gerrard has spoken about him being a better player than he has shown..time for him to maybe believe in himself a bit more....I would take the lad Mayo in a minute..imo will go onto better things..

525 have put a lot of money into gartcairn and syngenta juniors over the last few seasons..dont see a problem with them

That knob Keith Jackson spouting more pish today. Has been the mouthpiece for the spfl/Doncaster since the start of this. The new Traynor.

The big wig from ladbrokes is a massive celtic fan think that all came out after his tweet
The end of season money was quoted by forfar and stranraer to be very small..if i remember forfar said 3k and starnraer 2.5k...not vast ammounts of money..

I suspect it is more that we were not interested in his wage demands rather than him.
We defo weren't interested..Sod was desperate to come back but it was made clear we werent interested..nothing to do with money...big mistake imo from archie...we signed McGinn and the Czech guy instead..

Agree with this. Still think O’Ware will come good.
Hopefully he has a clause in his contract. Murder ..would rather Brownlie was captain.

I find that bizarre, why abstain?
My guess is celtic might be one..apparently lawell gave a rousing speech along with les Gray..still think there should be a vote of no confidence..be interesting to see what Inverness say in there next press release.

It was Inverness who were proposing to null and void the league..alloa and dunfermline were saying well if you go down that road youll lose out on money as its then split 10 ways.
Back page of daily record today.
Looks like Inverness with there new statement have blown the daily record article out the water.
Inverness certainly aint holding back.

Hard to know how it can be called 'a threat' , if it was never going to pass anyway?!

It would have kept us up, and we would have had more prize money.
Who apart from DUFC wouldnt have jumped on it
Alloa and dunfermline..both represented on the spfl board..null & void would have meant no 9 in a row..that would not have been allowed to happen..as i said it would have been my choice.
Imo this is why rangers want the investigation because they reckon they were desperate to call the lower leagues 1st that then set a prescient for the top league i.e average points per game.

Why did our club not get behind this with the other 5 clubs?
Think you would need to ask them..from what im reading null & void was never on table..obviously doesnt suit celtic who imo have a massive influence on the spfl..
Straight away in our league you have 3 who wouldnt pass it.
Ive been suprised the press have never jumped on how the dutch league have finished there season.

Yes. The leaked WhatsApp messages suggest that Dunfermline and Alloa were 'threatening' clubs that if the existing resolution - call the season - was not passed the alternative would have to be null and void and divide the money equally between all 10 clubs.
Yeah think it was Inverness who wanted to put forward a proposal to null & void the leagues, and were told by dunfermline & alloa that the money would then be split evenly between all 10 clubs.

But are they?
Is it not entirely logical, that if you don't call the season, and you cant play it out, then the remaining option is to null and void it? And is it not entirely fair that if you null and void it, it didn't happen, and so funds should be distributed equally? It seems entirely logical to me - in fact we would have been much better off under that scenario - relegation off the table and greater share of funds - perhaps we should have been in Alloa and Dunfermline WhatsApp group pushing for that, rather than ICT and Dundee?!!!
Not sure if ive read this right but are you saying alloa and dunfermline wanted to null & void the season with money split evenly between the 10 teams. i thought it was Inverness who were looking at this. This was my way of dealing with this from the beginning bit like the dutch league.

We need to stop looking back.same people posting the same boring shit.
Think we have already shown which route we were going down next season..young players with hunger and something to prove..Lyons..Brownlie think there was possibly a couple more not sure how that will work out now..
Lets pull together and make sure our club whatever league they are in are still here when we come out the other side..

That was again accepting mediocrity.
Our fan base is aging and dwindling, we don’t encourage new fans by being nice, by wee initiatives. You get them in by winning, and putting Partick Thistle first above every other club.
why would anyone who’s not already a fan, go to Firhill because we’re “Nice” or because we have a kids team or rainbow stripes, they go because there’s a chance the club is going places, competing, showing some bloody ambitionWe haven't been winning games on a weekly basis since we got promoted. Since the top 6 was achieved we have lost game after game
Remember the shouts from our club when we made top 6,other clubs cant plan we can. we can get signings in other clubs dont know what league they will be in. that particular window was shambles.
Beattie and Maxi must take a share of the blame for that window not just archie.

The main reason we are in this position is the acceptance of failure, mediocrity and amateurism.
The boards have done it, and we as fans have too.
“Don't boo the players they have feelings”
”Don’t blame Jacqui she really loves the club”
“We don’t want investors we to be community owned”
We aspire to be nothing, so we accept achieving nothing.
Until boards and the team realize were meant to be in it to win it at any cost we are a social club, a PR story, a soft touch, not a professional football club.
You forgot to add dont sack archie he got us top 6,he's a legend, should have been punted after killie game at firhill when we lost 2-0. To many people gave Beattie and him an easy time when it was clear we neede change..
What followed with Caldwell was another cluster****.
As i said time to move on.
-
Blame McCall, Caldwell, Archibald for the shite they have served up and some shocking signings. various boards Low,Beattie for terrible decisions....simple really..now lets move on.

Shambles from start to finish. Its a stitch up and closed shop if you are looking at trying to take this mop to task.
Just look at the rangers dossier not quite a loaded gun but some of there points are valid. Most of the media look to be onside with the spfl.
Still say the Brechin city guy and that tit from Alloa need to be looked at it.
We have been shite especially since January but still think we would have got more points than Queens.
No more away games for me whenever they happen and i love an away game..
Stay safe hopefully see you all back at Firhill soon.

Never understood spending some of the budget on Alston, Macdonald and Williamson. Waste of money. We then sign a goalie as cover they obviously dont rate the lad McCready. Reminds me of Archies recruitment.
