  1. It's all over but the PARTY! The Jags are staying up! Superb achievement - reminded me of last season tonight - I had a wee tear in my eye... Anyway, to help get the party started & as a wee thank you for supporting the pub, I've decided to offer a FREE PINT of draught beer / cider * to Jags fans (and Staggies) who show their season ticket / match ticket at the bar in The Brass Monkey on Saturday after the game (have to specify before some comedian asks for a pint of Champagne or vodka - very witty... ) *one per person, no chancers, Jags / County colours welcome I picked up the league title winning DVD today too, so will try to get it playing on one of the TVs on Saturday afternoon! Looking forward to celebrating with a few jars with some happy Jaggy faces! It'll be even better if we can hump Derek Adams' mob on Saturday too... PS Don't tell the Mrs GPT - she need not know. This may be the result of being on a bit of a Thistle induced high tonight...

I don't have a boozer at my place work (I don't think it would be considered appropriate) and if I did I wouldn't expect you to pay for nearly half of my beer bill but that is what is happening at the House of Commons. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/9100823/House-of-Commons-bar-brawls-When-drinks-are-half-price-its-easy-for-MPs-to-get-half-cut.html I can't buy a pint of beer at Firhill on a Saturday because parliament has imposed a restriction on my right to do so while they serve tax payer subsidised alcohol to the legislators while they are supposed to be at work and representing their (Falkirk) constituants... Hypocricy or sour grapes? discuss...
