RodMcDonaldJag
Going to get the new HTC Desire Hd when it comes out and was contemplating going to Phones4U for it. Has anyone taken out a contract with them in the past? Any thoughts on their service? Cheers

B.C.G. JAG
AVOID AVOID AVOID! Took out a contract with them once. Was assured that the phone came with a 14 day cooling off trial period, so when I discovered that I could get a better deal from Vodafone direct (sometimes it's good to call the companies and see if they will match or go one better than the high street) I tried to return the unused phone. They wouldn't take it back because the plastic screen protector had been removed - which they had done deliberately in the shop when they packaged it up. They point blank refused to discuss it with me. They are very very dodgy. Fortunately I explained my situation to Vodafone who ripped up the contract and gave me a new one more to my liking, so at least the pr**** didn't get any commission. Ask yourself this - how can a retailer supply a something cheaper than go straight to source. I know countless people who have had problems with Phones4U and Carphone Warehouse. Just go straight to the networks and shop around for a deal.

thomas
Also from what i hear p4u would make the phoneshop on c4 look like fortnum and massons. As for the desire, great phone, for a company id never heard of prior to this, theyve got a good phone
