twinny
A colleague of mine and myself both received this text today: FREEMSG: Our records indicate you may be entitled to 3750 pounds for the Accident you had. To apply free reply CLAIM to this message. To opt out text STOP I just ignored it but when he told me he got it too I decided to google the number I got it from and someone else had reported it today on a website whocallsme.com. I then googled 'SMS offering accident claim' and this was the first hit. I wouldn't bother posting it here, but my colleague is also from Glasgow - so either it's something happening around Nottingham, around Glasgow or everywhere. I've had that text message quite a few times now and yesterday - which was going badly at one point - I stupidly replied "Fu*k off!" Hopefully, the worst that can now happen is more text messages. Graemei
I've had a few as well, have deleted them but might speak to my provider and see what they can do. As they are quite annoying!
