Even at Hearts thats sacking form. Exactly. Something like 1 win in his last 15 games, a collapse towards the end of last season, and plenty of Hearts fans agreeing with the decision. Taking Hearts to 3rd in the SPL with by far the 3rd biggest budget and squad was not exactly a towering achievement. I think the point is why didn't he sack Jeffries before the start of the season and instead allow him to sign players before sacking him. Still comments re Foulkes and the SFA are spot on. They were cemented into 3rd place weeks and weeks and weeks before the end of the season had had very little play for. I wasn't the slightest bit surprised they finished the season the way they did.
