briogadh
Rewards for Clubs I have ben told that all clubs involved in the early rounds of the Scottish Cup benefit to the extent of £8,000 as a result of cash from SFA/sponsors. In suceeding rounds the sum given to clubs increases to £16,000 (Round 3 ) with similar increases up to the Final. Does anyone know the exact details of how this works? Small beer at this stage perhaps but a massive windfall for the likes of Culter and Auchinleck, even before a ball is kicked.
Pie Of The Month
They used to be 1: £2000 2: £4000 3. £6000 4. £8000 5. £10,000 QF. £12,000 SF: £15,000 F: £60,000 or £30,000 a couple of years ago and you got the money per round so Culter will have received £6000 for getting through rounds 1 and 2 already.
