twinny
Bit of a blow for the Scotland squad, we're out of the qualifiers to be fair but he really could have been important in working our way up the ranking to get a better pot for the next qualifiers. He's the closest to a genuinely world class player we've had in over a decade.
Members Willjag
Hopefully the op to cure his gastric problem will be a success. I was wondering why I hadn't seen him in the Utd teams recently when they have been so obviously been rotating the squad heavily.

upthejags
I've got the same thing (although not as bad) and it can be pretty grim so I really hope this works & gets him back to full fitness. He's probably had his bowel removed which is a bit of a nasty op!!

Mr Bunny
Best of luck to Fletcher but I don't think he's that big a loss on his own - we actually have a number of good midfield players - like Morrison, Dorrans and Snodgrass - and we've now got a couple of decent forwards in S Fletcher and Rhodes (as long as he doesn't get ruined at the disaster that is Blackburn). What has given us real problems in recent years is that for the first time in decades we have a weak back four. Until we get a really good centre half pairing we will always struggle - and I honestly can't see where it's going to come from.
upthejags
They can do an op where they remove it & you have a bag for a few months then when it heals they can connect things up with some sort of internal pouch so you can almost go back to normal. Hopefully we'll see him back on the pitch before the end of the year.
