H Wragg
Has anyone been able to successfully get round this 'DRM' and keep the programme for good ? I use the iplayer but I don't understand your question. Â What's the DRM?
Tam
I use the iplayer but I don't understand your question. Â What's the DRM? Â It, (Digital Rights Management),is the mechanism that gives the programme a shelf-life whereby it will terminate in 7 days etc. I want to be able to keep some programmes for as long as I wish if its possible. thomas
If you use firefox theres an add-on to let you download stuff from you tube, so if your shows on you tube may be an alternative
Otis
Don't really want to promote Sky+ but its a good service for keeping programmes, freeview plus box?
Tam
I already have sky+ and the programme I wanted is on there but I go through more sky+ boxes than hard-drives (3-1 ratio so far) I thought it would be good to find out how to get around the BBC's DRM protocols and save it to disk or other. Im sure someone knows.
alx
My freeview HD is fine for that sort of thing. I only use I-player for emergency watching of an occasional Doctor Who or listening to radio at work.
