  1. What do you call a peadophile on a bike? Cycle Jackson.
  2. Excellent idea 1JL Could we perhaps set up a poll on here (assuming the club themselves arent involved) for each position and the vote winner for each position gets a place in the team? Maybe 2 or 3 polls a week until all positions are filled. Im unsure as to which formation though - 442, 433, 352? Then subs? As for when to have it - what about the Sunday at the first bank holiday in May? That would allow those still involved in the game to be in attendance, and for us mere mortals to have a bevvy without the worry of work the following morning!
  3. Aw bugger And yes, i noticed the "Balgging It" mistakes as soon as i posted
  4. From the London Times: Outside England 's Bristol Zoo there is a parking lot for 150 cars and 8 buses. For 25 years, it’s parking fees were managed by a very pleasant attendant. The fees were for cars (£1.40),for buses (about £7). Then, one day, after 25 solid years of never missing a day of work, he just didn't show up; so the Zoo Management called the City Council and asked it to send them another parking agent. The Council did some research and replied that the parking lot was the Zoo's own responsibility. The Zoo advised the Council that the attendant was a City employee. The City Council responded that the lot attendant had never been on the City payroll. Meanwhile, sitting in his villa somewhere on the coast of Spain or France or Italy ... is a man who'd apparently had a ticket machine installed completely on his own and then had simply begun to show up every day, commencing to collect and keep the parking fees, estimated at about £560 per day -- for 25 years. Assuming 7 days a week, this amounts to just over 7 million pounds .... and no one even knows his name.
  5. Tranmere v Thistle pre-season. Now THAT would be feckin' awesome!!
  6. Cumbernauld Bus for Dundee will be leaving from the British Legion, Cumbernauld Town Centre, at 1pm. Contact Paul on 07926 803 867 to book yours!!
  7. At the Man U game! Saw his mug (in fecking HD) in the front row at Old Trafford on the tele today. Was either him or Andy Cowan has an evil twin brother....
  8. Seafar, apparently. I remember a story in the local rag creaming themselves that Sharon Stone was coming to Cumbernauld, to attend her then boyfriend's (Ferguson) dad's funeral....
  9. Ha Ha. At least he's into nice, clean fun.....
  10. Bit selective there, are you not?
  11. Elgin away - if for nothing more than to cross that ground off ma list!
  12. There was a childrens gate at the other end as well, so this was not some kind of family section. The "Hello Hello" song shouldnt be confused with a bigoted song and anyone who thinks so is missing the point. Why you felt this was so offensive is beyond me. Thankfully no-one sung Mary from Maryhill!! That said, any treatment you received in the aftermath is totally out of order.
  13. Whit u saying? U having a go at me? Mon outside..... Kidding, obviously I just wonder if all this wouldve kicked off in the first place (the complaint to the Stewards, a bit of handbags between the fans after the stooshie) had we been 2 or 3 up. Maybe this all sums up how we're all feeling atm. To quote Tom Hughes (or was it Clowan?) perhaps we're all just a bit "battle-weary"? I know i am and I'll take this opportunity to apologise to anyone i upset today with my opinion
  14. Yer man Honved directed that comment at me when he butted into a conversation i was having with an older guy beside me. I, or any of the people I was with, were not "spoling for a fight" of any sort. I couldnae fight sleep. Did make me laugh though that Honved felt that my argument that swearing at football was part and parcel was "pish"
  15. What was so toe-curling? I really didnt hear anything that isnt heard week in week out at football games all across the country, especially when the linesman was happy to give a penalty when, IMO, Halliwell fouled the guy outside the box. Deserved all he got.
  16. Thats who I thought the chants were aimed at.....
  17. Whilst I condem any fans threatening others for any reason, why did your dad feel it necessary to complain to the stewards in the first place? The language may have been "industrial" but it wasnt as bad as it normally is at most games. The "events" that followed were caused by an over-zealous Steward who felt it neccesary to push the fan he was ejecting in the back. Shocking behaviour that was worse than anything anyone else said or done.
  18. Exactly. Im still a bit pissed off that I had to miss Dingwall because I was travelling back from Prague.
