It's kind of my point. If he was on the other side then surely there would have been a good chance ONE of them could have seen it.

I like the idea of the 5th official to help the linesman and referee out but why do they stand on the the same side as the linesman? Surely if they were on the other side then linesman and official together can make a more accurate decision.

Why didn't they schedule the re-re-arranged fixture to be thursday instead of wednesday? means we were at least given 1 more days notice for travel arrangements and not being on the same night as the Scotland game.
