Very happy with this signing. Ok he's hardly kicked a ball this season but that experience and organisation never leaves you. I'd start him with big gabby tomorrow leave muirhead at defensive midfield and drop Conrad.

Agree with most folk that county will come and produce the painful, eye wrenching brand of football that saw them promoted and secured them a top half finish last season ( says a lot bout this league actually). We will have to dig in and try to keep the ball and not surrender possession cheaply. All eleven players r gonna hv to be prepared to dish out meaty but legal tackles because if they don't county will just steamroller us.

Personally has to be Wilson for me. Watched him few times for the u21s and the boy looks tactically aware, hungry and also decent in a tackle which is something we will need. Compared to Kerr who I wouldn't b comfortable relying on in a physical midfield battle.

Have to take this opportunity to say I was wrong in my knee jerk reaction last week. Fair play to Archie he appeared to have acted on Wednesday and I witnessed for myself the change today. Was great to see a plan b and hopefully we push on this month. First signing so far so good so maybe he has genuinely learned from his mistakes re some signings in the summer.

Today we had a perfect blend of both in my opinion. Played the nice free flowing football got the two goals then dug in and secured the points. Second half was a case of getting the job done and at no point today did I feel we were in danger of losing our lead. Special mention for Taylor who was a cut above today. Physical presence and the ability to fend off defenders and an eye for goal, took his goal well and now he's up n running can c him nagging a good few vital goals. Also great to see us scoring from a corner! Finally defence were solid today n Muirhead sitting in front works. On to the next one three points a must Saturday.
