  1. Apologies for the lack of match pictures recently. This was due to the laptop crashing and then being away for repair for an unacceptably long period over Christmas. However On it's return yesterday it managed to work for 15 min at half-time yesterday before dying again. Off to kick up a fuss and hopefully the picture service will be back to normal sooner rather than later. Please remember Donald's fan and action pics can still be viewed on the club's facebook page. Apologies. Tommy
  2. Livi pics http://ptfc.co.uk/media/photo_galleries/match_galleries/2012-2013/partick_thistle_v_livingston_24_11_12 A win on a cold day. Special thanks to James Williamson for the pic of Aarons goal. Calendar sales went well today - It will be available at every home game until New Year (or until it sells out) :-)
  3. No JF - we went with another group photo on the front. See Facebook for details.........
  4. In case anyone missed this http://ptfc.co.uk/news/2012-2013/november_2012/2013_partick_thistle_calendar Will be available in limited numbers on Saturday due to the printing deadline but will be available at the rest of the home fixtures. Price held the same as last year at £5 and all profits to the club.
  5. It is usually tradition for the Chairman to be in the pic - some don't do it but it is the norm. After we do that pic we do various other versions with advertising boards, sometimes with a sponsor or fan who has won a competition. It is just so we have a wide variety of pics to choose from and why some papers had the chairman and some didn't.
  6. Hamilton pics http://ptfc.co.uk/media/photo_galleries/match_galleries/2012-2013/hamilton_academical_v_partick_thistle_16_11_12 now on the official site. remember to Click i for pic info. For a Dunfermline, I supppose there has to be a Hamilton to balance things out ...........
  8. Thanks everyone - days like these do make your life a lot easier. Can I also point you in the direction of the Club's facebook page where Donald has some great fan and celebration pics and a great JHS full pic. Tommy
  9. Dunfermline pics http://ptfc.co.uk/media/photo_galleries/match_galleries/2012-2013/partick_thistle_v_dunfermline_athletic_10_11_12 What a day. Sorry about the rogue stray pic from last week - which won't let itself be deleted.
  10. Fair points but whatever the reason the fact is they get a nearly full stadium every game in the league. There would be no reason to think if Dunfermline and Hearts went the same way all their fans would go shopping and be lost forever to football. That's all I was saying that the end doesn't always have to be the end.
  11. Some fair points but a little on the pessimistic side. So far this season we are averaging about 2800 that's with games against Hamilton, Dumbarton and Cowdenbeath at Firhill - 3 of the lower supported clubs in the league. That is about 800 more than we averaged 2 years ago. It's not the good old days but it is going in the right direction. As for other clubs, the SPL attendances are pretty much where they have been for ages - The Rangers factor only affecting Celtic whose crowds are down by about 5000 but they have expensive champions league football to more than supplement that loss. Scottish Football is paying for years and years of mismanagement and not just recent events. Hearts and Dunfermline have been dodging the bullet for years but as Rangers have shown a trip to the third division doesn't have to mean you lose your fans to Saturday Shopping. And for what it's worth from where I sit Firhill is pretty noisy these days and that "vast empty" arena doesn't seem so vast or empty at the moment.
  12. Sorry not been on today. We used to. The waters are a bit muddy because of the Greaves contract so the answer would currently probably be no. We have the calendar and that would be about all we can do at the moment.
  13. Brave effort from Cove against ten man Thistle. http://ptfc.co.uk/media/photo_galleries/match_galleries/2012-2013/partick_thistle_v_cove_rangers_03_11_12
  14. Today's pictures now up http://ptfc.co.uk/media/photo_galleries/match_galleries/2012-2013/falkirk_v_partick_thistle_27_10_12 One pic probably not for the squeamish.
  15. airdrie pictures http://ptfc.co.uk/me...united_20_10_12. Apologies for the absence of the first goal but camera jammed and lack of Stevie in his goal where the Airdrie players got in the way - a bit inconsiderate if you ask me. Pictures should be back to being available to view on Saturday nights after the construction of the site has now been completed. Remember to click i for picture info Tommy
  16. Pictures now on official site http://ptfc.co.uk/me...histle_06_10_12 Apologies for the delay but technical germlims at work again. Just add - Remember to press I if you want to see the captions.
  17. From where I was the sending off wasn't that clear cut - I saw it as a 50/50, two players going for the ball at full tilt. The picture isn't clear cut either (having trouble getting the pics up so need to wait a bit before seeing for yourselves). So I did think Shuggie was a bit unlucky to walk. There was certainly a fair shout for a penalty on Craig in the first half and the handball in the second was a hand ball but presume the ref and assistant thought it was more ball to hand. The ref dictated a lot of the way the game turned out yesterday.
  18. Raith pics now on official site http://ptfc.co.uk/media/photo_galleries/match_galleries/2012-2013/raith_rovers_v_partick_thistle_29_09_12 That was close .
  19. Today's pics now on official site http://ptfc.co.uk/media/photo_galleries/match_galleries
  20. And here was me thinking that I was only having a wee gentle bit of fun at Sigesige Ah's expense. Instead it is forming the basis of PT's honours degree in theology. This place is deep. :-)
  21. Because recent research shows that teams that wear their away kit win all their games :-)
  22. Today's match pics now on official site http://ptfc.co.uk/media/photo_galleries/match_galleries/2012-2013/livingston_v_partick_thistle_15_09_12 Press i for captions.
  23. Raith pics now on official site. http://ptfc.co.uk/media/photo_galleries/match_galleries/2012-2013/partick_thistle_v_raith_rovers_09_09_12
  24. Hmmm - It might be the size that I have used in the past is now too small for the new site so that would explain it, especially on PC's. Once I get the instructions on putting the pics up it will probably be a bit clearer for me on how to sort it ( the techie is putting pics up for me for the moment). Thanks for the feedback and complements.
  25. I work from a laptop so haven't noticed any difference in resolution but it should still be at 72. The work is still ongoing so there maybe still issues to be fixed but don't think we are far away. Sadly website construction isn't really my area but I will ask if there is an issue.
