  1. It's from Feb '78. Bobby Houston, Sandy Frame with Bobby Reid and Ally Hunter on the deck
  2. For Info, Algarve Jag - player in foreground is Alex Jones and for completionists it's Cammy Palmer's ear sticking out behind Kenny and Osman is on the right. Albert Craig called of late as a family member had taken ill that morning. Thank you Flashman for crediting the picture,.
  3. Not sure if you are on twitter but I have a number of images on my page and most of them will be on club page. https://twitter.com/TommyTaylorPTFC and https://twitter.com/ThistleTweet The full strip was on the original story at 11 - not sure why it has gone now.
  4. Jagsman - I presume this will be for Joanne Johnston wife of Michael Johnston. Joanne was also known to Thistle fans as the daughter of Hall of Famer Peter McKennan. A sad loss.
  5. Party table seemed to enjoy themselves :-) Pictures from hospitality can be seen on my Twitter page - club twitter usually picks them up as well if you want to put names to faces...... :-)
  6. For those of you on Twitter - there are pics on the thistle tweet page and my own page from the night. And the FB page has one on it now
  7. West Ender - David Amoo was voted MotM.
  8. I'm out Sab. I won't be investing.
  9. Trust me Sabbath I am not fixated by Eric - The others just repeat the same nonsense. To tell the truth not even the Flat Earther's really believe it is flat. They just believe it for the sake of their book sales and internet hits. Well done on this excellent Troll and being at this subject for a whole year. And yes we went to the moon.
  10. Sabbath, Eric Dubay was out there with this dead theory for ages until a few others picked up on him and gave him a lift up. The flat earth theory had been debunked so many times normal debunkers couldn't be bothered this time round and it gave him and it a clear run. Eric had by this point harnessed social media to a degree that others hadn't done (and that is his real triumph) so for the last couple of years it has become almost unchallenged as the number one (or two) internet conspiracy theory. Eric like all the other snake oil salesmen has something to sell. Truth takes a back seat to whatever book he is selling this month. There are no serious people backing this anywhere and I don't even think Gio from Ancient Aliens has touched it and he believes in anything :-) Alex Jones doesn't buy it either and if you can't convince him then you have nothing. Go find another theory as this one is complete nonsense. :-) hint: Aliens- always safe ground :-)
  11. Mark Roberts v Hamilton is at 4.21. another tele shot.
  12. The Jamie Mitchell Brechin miss is at 3.14, after a foul by the goalie on Willie Howie, Again a tele shot so can't tell if it's a save or miss.
  13. I have the Mark Roberts v Airdrie pen at 3.27 on the picture not long after his goal. It's a tele shot so can't tell if its a miss or a save.
  14. I seem to remember the first team squad that Gerry and Derek had was huge (just to show squad size isn't everything) I might be wrong - I am sure others will correct me if I am - but that is the only time I can remember a squad that big.
  15. my memory is of Alan Hansen taking it. I remember looking over at Roughie who was hunched down facing the wrong way not being able to look.
  16. And I am pretty sure that is Gunni T with the Don.
  17. According to my friend on my twitter feed (as he posted it) the crowd picture is from Aug 61 and Celtic won 3-2. Stevie (St.Anthony on twitter) posts a lot of old Celtic sided pics - as does Stuthejag from the Jags side.
  18. Would that be a Thistle manager in that picture Stu?
  19. I think he was one of the players there so you are probably right - I remember Alan being there so just presumed it was him. Need to dig the pictures out on day.
  20. Camallin - I remember saying there's a bit of a colour clash to the ref. He said, no it was fine and he had checked the strips before the game and decided there was no clash. I think I said "Seriously?" out loud. Can't remember who the captain was but I remember (might have been Allan Dinne) backup was forthcoming but still the ref was still prepared to carry on. I then think a few other players came over at Alan's prompting to say there was a clash . I heard booing and I then took a few pictures and at point that he asked if they had spare kit and off they went. A bit bizarre but I think at kick off the sun was pretty strong and that was making the clash worse if you had the sun facing you.
  21. Yes I know...... My friend Stevie does the Celtic Underground Podcast and one of the latest ones is an interview with Joe Craig. For those of a certain age who are interested in times gone by, the first half hour is mostly about his time at Firhill. It is on iTunes and it will be near the top with the heading St.Anthony interviews. Need to get used Joe saying Partick a lot though...
